OT: Sox choking already!

Curt is already looking like a goat. 6 runs allowed already? I was hoping Boston would come out strong, but it seems like the curse is already in progress.

The Boy Wonder ;)

My twinks had them on the ropes and they escaped. A Rod blew me up.

The Sox only hope was that the Twinks blew up the Yanks. They don't match up against New York whatsoever.

I spent three years traveling to the Boston area almost weekly. I hate those people. What a bunch of whining jerks. I think we should pay canada to annex New England so we don't have to listen to them anymore. The yankees have only one thing going for them - they aren't from Boston. Hope boston goes down in 4 and the yankees go down in 4 to who ever in the NL.

watermock 10-12-2004 06:41 PM

It's so typical Boston whining. They have an NFL team that has won 19 straight and still find a way to complain.

Northman 10-12-2004 07:07 PM

The Red Sox suck but i still hate the Wankys.

-Slap- 10-12-2004 07:25 PM

18 up and 18 down for Moose.

-Slap- 10-12-2004 07:25 PM

19.

-Slap- 10-12-2004 07:26 PM

Bellhorn breaks it up with a double off the wall.

-Slap- 10-12-2004 07:28 PM

SOB looked like crap all year on my roto team, but he's frigging Bob Feller tonight.

Clockwork Orange 10-12-2004 07:34 PM

Sox have a 3 spot thus far in the 7th.

Never say never.

-Slap- 10-12-2004 07:36 PM

Now, he looks like the Moose I remember running out there all year.

Clockwork Orange 10-12-2004 07:37 PM

Varitek launches one.

8-5 now. We've got ourselves a ballgame again.

-Slap- 10-12-2004 07:43 PM

Well, someone is choking right now.

Looks like the Yankees are going to need Rivera tonight after all.

Evenrude 10-12-2004 07:57 PM

Those two runs Wakefield let in hurt like hell right now..... The Sox are bringing up the right part of the order though......

Clockwork Orange 10-12-2004 08:01 PM

Silver sombraro for Damon. Waving at breaking balls all night.

Clockwork Orange 10-12-2004 08:03 PM

Ortiz at the plate with a chance to tie the game with one swing.

Clockwork Orange 10-12-2004 08:06 PM

2 run triple for Ortiz and it's 8-7.

Just missed a HR by a couple of feet.

Clockwork Orange 10-12-2004 08:11 PM

Rivera gets out of it. Sox were that close to tying it up.

Clockwork Orange 10-12-2004 08:23 PM

2 on, 1 out and Matsui at the plate. Godzilla has 5 RBI's tonight and is 3 for 3 with runners in scoring position.

Sox can't let them push another run across if they want to have a chance to tie it up with Rivera on the mound in the 9th.

Clockwork Orange 10-12-2004 08:28 PM

Bernie Williams with the dagger. 2 run double to make it 10-7.

phillybroncosnut 10-12-2004 08:33 PM

Fuggin Timlin.

Who said the Sox don't match up well with the Yankthese? Mock? Boston won the season series bro.

Sox will still take this series in 7. Schilling had zero tonight and I have no clue why. I don't think he hit 90 MPH all night. Worse then his velocity was his control (or lack thereof). Power pitchers have to hit their spots. Curt was way off tonight. Unless he is injured, he will be back and he will win game 4 and game 7.

I wonder if Ruth gave a big blow at ortiz's shot in the 8th to knock it down from going over the wall?

phillybroncosnut 10-12-2004 08:40 PM

Come on baby. 1st and 2nd 1 out in the 9th. Lil hit here, lil hit there, and a big fly.

God, why did the Sox dig such a big hole early? FUG

phillybroncosnut 10-12-2004 08:42 PM

Fug. Aww well.

The Sox will take games 2,4,6, and 7.

WaffleBoy 10-12-2004 08:47 PM

Red Sox ace choked. Thus, they lost. End of story.

The Boy Wonder ;)

Hogan11 10-12-2004 08:47 PM

Doesn't matter who wins this...they are going down to the Cards in the WS.

I hate to say that because I hate them with a passion, but I've seen them numerous times this season and they're a totally complete ballclub if'n ever there was one....plus I'm an NL guy........bias? Look at the W/L records.....you were saying??
