If you're not sick of it, thoughts on team?
Tough 10 team league picked 9th
Culpepper -1 Brady -10 D. Davis -2 T. Henry -4 L. Gordon -6 T. Bell -8 S. Smith -3 J. Walker -5 P. Burress -7 Key Johnson -9 Hanson -11 Putz -13 Denver -12 :homer: Hoping to use Brady as bait sometime, a few are thin at QB. What do you guys think?? |
WR's are good. Qb's good. Little thin at RB.
Dom Davis will be a decent RB for you but after that, you might become desperate. Henry definately has the ability to be a very good #2 RB but there are big questions. 1- how many carries will he lose to McGahee every game? McGahee will definately get touches in each and every game. How many though. I'm thinking 8-10 at least. That drops Henry from a 20-25 carry RB to a 15ish carry back. That aint good for Henry owners. 2- Will Henry lose the starting job all together? I think Henry's contract is up and McGahee is Buffalo's future back. If I'm Buffalo, who would I rather see get the touches? I don't buy the fact that Lamar gordon is going to go down to Miami and be what he was in STL. He wont be running behind as good of an O-Line. If Ricky Williams can't run for 1200 yards behind that line, I don't think Gordon will come close to 1200 yards. Not to mention the fact that Gordon doesn't know one play in the Miami Offense yet and week 1 is all but here. If anything, it will take Gordon 2, maybe 3, maybe 4 weeks just to get fimiliar with what Miami wants to do on offense. Bell could be the stud of the draft but first you have to have an injury to Q. Hard to predict injuries. If Q doesn't go down, Bell will be a wasted pick for a lot of people. That said, he's worth the gamble. Try to find someone that will maybe trade a Rudi Johnson/Q/Brian Westbrook/Marshall Faulk 2nd tier type back (dont ask for a big boy, no one will do that) for a package of Brady and Gordon. That may sound crazy with gordon becoming a "starter" all of a sudden, but thats the reason to do it. Someone should jump on that. |
I agree, that's why I picked up Brady. The run on RB's was ridiculous, I hate to follow that, missed K Brown by one pick. That hurt.
