LSU: "We want our money"

Dear LSU,

We gave you the game fair and square, you can keep your #3 ranking as you held off the mighty Oregon State Beavers, we expect our money by Monday.

Signed,
The refs

No doubt man that was sickening. The announcers covering for the refs was almost as sickening.

i totally agree. im starting to think the SEC refs are the worst in the league.

I started a thread on this game based on how lucky LSU was, but I focused on the gift of three missed extra points. I agree that the calls were definitely home-cooked from the SEC officials. Still, c'mon, make 1 of 2 extra points and you win in regulation. That kicker was going crazy after he missed the third one and the game ended, and I couldn't help but feel for him. Nobody on his team would go near him.

theres no doubt that OSU had a number of chances but that ' so-called ' forward pass which was actually a fumble was HUGE in field position and pinned OSU deep in their own end for the remainder of the game.

I forgot about that, that was HUGE. OSU would have had the ball in LSU territory. I was thinking of the 2 def holding calls (especially the first one) against OSU, and then the lack of a call against LSU in OT for the same thing. Also, Mike Riley was trying to call a TO before the kicker missed the XP in OT, but they didn't give it to him. I think he was thinking about going for two, which I thought they should have done anyway. OSU's D was very worn down and LSU had the mo.

Add in that Oregon States coach was calling a T.O. before the extra point was snapped that the refs didn't grant as well, and you got a total B.S. game.

Can't believe the announcers had the audacity to blame it on the guy who scoredf the TD and got a delay of game call,"If he had not of done that, I'm sure he would've made the xtra point."

the non-fumble call, 2 holding penalties in OT, then not giving them a time out when the coach was calling for it, damn LSU is lucky.

Sad thing for them is that they play in the SEC< where 4 teams could easily knock them out.
