Mail it in... This election is ovah...
Kerry isn't winning this one. No way no how.
Once again, becuase Kerry has so much difficulty managing his own message, Bush is able to attack him on the $87 billion dollar deal. How many months is Kerry going to let this attack go unchallenged? Kerry is washed up. This thing is over... |
i disagree. sadly i think kerry is going to win by 4-5 points.

I think it'll be a landslide for Bush... Kerry has let too many attacks go unchallenged. He has too much ground to make up, and the heat is on. Bush is going to get a 4-6 point bump out of this. And Rove has more tricks up his sleeve.
Kerry needed to be casting doubt going into this convention. The only doubt cast was on himself and his ability to lead... The ONLY thing that will save Kerry right now is if it is discovered that there was impropriety in the Bush Administration surrounding 9/11... Uh... Good luck with that. |

Kerry wasted no time making his own ad which was nothing more than a mix up on words, not something Bush is unknown for. I hope the Kerry campaign enjoys spending it's money for superfluous ads. That ad won't last a week. They would do better attacking Zell Miller, a Democrat. |

But either way Mock the Today show wont release the video , so I guess it is a moot point ......

He said he didn't think we could win the war on terror. He also went on to say that it's one of those things that if left unchecked, would spiral out of control(paraphrase). In essence, he was saying "No, we cant win, terrorists will always exist, but we HAVE to fight them or they go unchecked and do even more damage than they would had we went out and kicked their asses." This is an example where people hear what they want to hear. When I heard it told I was like "That stupid mother ****er. I cant believe he said that." Then I read the article, going in biased AGAINST Bush cause he is an idiot, and realized the context of the words he ACTUALLY said as opposed to what has been misquoted (at least in the sense of the context). Now had Kerry said this same thing and I read the exact same quote I would be in here defending that too. Its not what they meant when they said it and the god damn reporters KNEW it. I did not see the Today show btw, I am going off QUOTES from two articles (CNN and FoxNews articles) I read. |

..and this thing is far from over....but Kerry needs to "fire back" ASAP and soon to offset the charges made against him and nip any kind of momentum this Convention might have spawned.....the next few days will be critical for the DNC campaign. |
I recant... I think Kerry has one final chance to win it... We'll know by mid-September if he's got a shot. If he's counting on the debates to bail him out, he's already lost.

CNN Quickvote: Did Bush make his case for a second term in office?
Yes 42% 4066 votes No 58% 5561 votes http://www.cnn.com/ |
I think he lost it tonight.........Kerry had his chance to get a big bump from the DNC, but he blew it.
Even his responses tonight were just the same ole rant as usual, nothing new with some statisics thrown in there. That is good senate debate politics, but not good presidential politics. Kerry is going to lose this election more handily than I first thought. |

I have no problem with the man's service or how he conduct's himself publically....it's the conservative agenda I despise and he is an extreme conservative in moderate's clothing........I was willing to give him a chance until I researched him, now, there's no way in hell I will....look at the voting record and his political history and you'll find that out as well. |

Kerry blew it when he assumed that there was enough anti-Bush sentiment to get him elected. That's why he said nothing in his speech at the DNC Convention about what he would do as President. He left the door wide open
