Why neither candidate deserves my vote!
 

I sit here and read both sides of this political debate and all I hear is hate. :cuss: It is a contest of who can outdo the other when it comes to stupid childish pics and putdowns. Once in a great while a valid point is made on one side or the other, but that is usually ignored wholesale. If this is what I get from either candidate, I would rather not have one of them at all.

I understand that politics is not one of the most righteous events, but this election year we seem to be stooping to new lows. I wish I had an answer for why this is happening, but I don't. Even if everyone in this forum decided to instantly act mature and responsible, it wouldn't stop the filth that pervades the rest of this campaign year. So enough of my rant, and please continue your uplifting and insightful debate. :saywhat:

It was a decent article. I especially like this quote in the last paragraph:

"Needless to say, the proposition will be a hard sell in those dim and tiny reaches of the electorate where voters have yet to make up their minds. Indeed, it's far more likely that moderates and fence-sitters will be disgusted by the lengths to which partisans will go to discredit a rival."
