... and here I feel challenged just trying to drop 20 lbs ...

Mile High Shack 08-11-2004 10:17 AM

ya know what that is just insane....dude should have never let himself get beyond 800lb ;)

but seriously...I feel sorry for him, but not like a person with a real disease. I understand some people are more prone to be heavier...but that heavier can be like 30lbs overweight or so..no biggie, not everyone can be skinny...but c'mon 1,000 lbs?????

even 300 lbs is too big for most people.

TheManeMan 08-11-2004 01:25 PM

That is purely amazing...I never could imagine anybody that big...totally unreal...I dont want this to sound like a joke or anything but, I cant believe that he is still alive...

A group known as the League of Human Dignity helped arrange for Deuel to be driven to a local livestock scale, where he could be weighed.
Anyone else find this sentence a bit contradictory?

I hope he fares better than this woman that didn't make it (today's news).

She was on her couch for 2-5 YEARS and her skin attached so the couch became part of her. Unreal.

Oh wait! There's good news...according to the article...

Quote:

"Even though he's faced negativity all these years, he's not a negative person," Edith Deuel said. "He's almost always been able to stay bubbly and make jokes and be happy."
Good to see he's still bubbly after all these years... :poke:

An absolutely hysterical and crass commentary on the 600 lb woman.
