Will Scott Walker Join Blago in Prison?

Prosecutors accuse Gov. Scott Walker of personally overseeing a sweeping "criminal scheme" to illegally coordinate fundraising and campaign activity among conservative groups in a broad effort to help him -- as well as Republican senators -- fend off recalls targeting them in 2011 and 2012, court documents unsealed Thursday show.

In the documents, which were unsealed by a federal appeals court judge Thursday morning, prosecutors described what they called a "criminal scheme" to circumvent state campaign finance and election laws.

LOL, yeah, I worry about Walker all day, every day, unlike you with Obama and democrats. If he did something wrong, he should pay like anyone else, including yes, your democrats, but you live in double standard world, so democrats should do whatever they want. But nice you need to worry about me, but getting your butt handed to you every day must make you butt hurt. Go change your diapers already.

No. Allegedly the governor of a state that holds little real concern for those of us who don't live there. Which makes it not-all-that-surprising that that's where you'd like everyone to focus. You know, instead of that cataclysmit f-up that is Washington DC that you tell us over and over again needs more control over how we do things.

oh I see, so now we shouldn't point out a repub governor because he doesn't live here? wow. wasn't he the GOP's darling when he stood up to those evil unions?

Requiem 06-19-2014 01:53 PM

Point away. Just shows the intellectual consistency at work here. Clamoring for investigations of dudes who don't represent you in any way. Preemptively closing any investigation of those who do represent you as witch hunts (if you like the crease in their pants, that is)

If you just wanted to bronze your own personal naked partisanship for all to see, then congrats. Mission accomplished.

Guess you're throwing the old "All these investigations (or opening prayers, etc) are keeping the government from doin' its business!" argument under the bus now. LOL

It's all about the (R)

Getting into Iraq was obviously a bad mistake. Almost as bad as green-lighting the premature total-withdrawal.

But the work GW started with the NSA was the worst mistake of all. Americans will likely regret what his administration started there for decades to come.

A little light reading, if you're so eager for something more on (pointless) point.

However, missing from all these accounts was one small fact: Shortly after prosecutors made the “criminal scheme” charge, it was rejected by the presiding judge, Gregory Peterson. On Dec. 9, 2013, prosecutor Francis Schmitz filed a motion in opposition to quashing subpoenas in the case in which he made the “criminal scheme” allegation. On Jan. 10, 2014, Peterson threw out Schmitz’s motion, saying that it “failed to show probable cause that a crime had been committed.”

In fact, Peterson was only the first judge to rule against prosecutors. Last month, ruling on a lawsuit brought by the defendants, federal Judge Rudolph Randa shut down the entire investigation, issuing a sternly worded rebuke to prosecutors pursing Walker and his allies. So despite all the celebrating liberal groups were doing with the release of the documents on Thursday, few of them knew that the case is currently dead.
But, like I hinted at earlier, it's fun to watch the habitual criers of "witch hunt!" line themselves up so eagerly behind one of the pettiest witch hunts out there.

It's all about the (R).

So, getting out of Iraq was a worse mistake than going in? lol. And you expect to be taken seriously?

It will be funny if/when we re-engage in Iraq how all these same idiots currently blaming the whole mess on Obama, and slamming his premature exit, will be ripping Obama for said re-engagement. Price is already doing it in the ongoing cluster**** Iraq thread.

I no longer have any idea what the Rights' position is on Iraq. It could be anything.

This is why Govenors make the best presidents; they already have real world experience with election rigging and corruption.
