Raiders One Up Seahawks

QB Pryor was headed for release before the Seahawks called.

Seahawks wanted him and he never would have made it to them on waivers. Trading a 7th for him makes total sense and the Raiders are still terrible at everything.

OBF1 04-22-2014 04:22 AM

the value on a 7th round pick is virtually the same as a bag of stale pretzels.

Action 04-22-2014 04:23 AM

Oh yeah, the Raiders really made it out like bandits with this one!

The Super Bowl winning team's pick in the last round of the draft!

Punisher 04-22-2014 05:05 AM

Pryor wasn't even that bad when he played for them he had a few highlights

jmz313 04-22-2014 05:10 AM

Its funny, i see a better Raiders team with Pryor Starting another season as opposed to Schaub.

randerson1184 04-22-2014 05:51 AM

Trading your starting QB for a 7th round pick?

Only Oakland.....

Same here. It's like they don't want to risk improving beyond mediocre.

Plus swapped our 7th for their 6th. Highway robbery.

Crushaholic 04-22-2014 07:31 AM

The Seahawks acquired someone who has started multiple NFL games, and all they had to give up was a (virtually) worthless 7th-round pick. I see no problem with this...

Lestat 04-22-2014 09:15 AM

The hawks did well in this trade. You trade essentially a nothing pick for a legit back up who is young and you can mold in case Wilson goes down.
Plus he's on a cheap contract.

ColoradoDarin 04-22-2014 09:41 AM

Good God the raiders are stupid.

R8R H8R 04-22-2014 09:49 AM

Russell Wilson is now the 3rd highest paid QB on the team. I wonder when he is going to realize that, and demand more?

broncocalijohn 04-22-2014 09:58 AM

SO Mr. Irrelevant (I assume the 7th round pick is this year) is the
"guy that normally gets screwed as if he didn't get picked, he could have chosen any other team as a UDFA."

Now he gets the cool party in Orange County as being the last pick but once that week is over, he realizes he is an Oakland Raider.

That will suck in the end.

Nah, the raiders collected that pick to package and move up a spot in the 6th round to draft a project QB.

I heard it was going to be a wide receiver project that has never played football but was on a college track team and is really fast in the 100 meters...before he got injured last week.

Who they will promptly cut in the final roster cuts. :yayaya:

NorthernistCaliforneeway7 04-22-2014 10:44 AM

Pryor is complete garbage. Good move by the raiders to get anything for him.

boppool 04-22-2014 03:31 PM

So the Faiders get the last pick of the draft for Pryor.
