Denver makes the SB...

What team do you NOT want to play?...

WTF is this ****? Clear your minds everyone. Don't vote. This is like when Gozer asked the Ghostbusters to choose the form of their destructor.

Broncos4Life 12-03-2013 07:25 AM

I dont care who they play! No vote for me. You shoulda put an option for that in.

TonyR 12-03-2013 07:31 AM

Seahawks by far would be the toughest draw. Not a good matchup for the Broncos. After that probably San Fran and then Carolina.

WolfpackGuy 12-03-2013 07:33 AM

Bring on the Seasquawks!

I think the Saints or Lions would be a tougher draw for the Broncos though because of their passing games.

I love how a Chiefs fan is STILL on this board making polls about the Broncos reaching the Super Bowl.

lol

bronco militia 12-03-2013 07:45 AM

the seahawks are a different team on the road.

They have a thread on CP of the top ten reasons we won't win the Super Bowl. I honestly have never seen a fan base so infatuated out of spite with another fan base/team. I can see rivalries, but these idiots do it because we constantly push their **** in.

Their tears make me happy.

Watching decades of futility vs. watching decades of success for a rival team will do that to a fan base ;D

Everyone keeps saying this, but regardless they're 5-1 on the road. We're 4-2.

that's true, but they have an easy schedule. They struggled at home against the vikings and bucs

Only if the Superbowl was going to be played in the PNW instead of NYC.

And 4 of those 5 wins are Cards, Rams, Texans, and Falcons. The 5th? Carolina (who started the season in complete befuddlement).

They have a better road record than we do, and one could argue that they're built better for the cold than we are.

Just curious but why?

I do think on neutral ground us versus the Seahags would be one hell of a game.

Well, it's not like we've beat a lot of juggernauts on the road.

and I'm sure if we swapped for one of their away cupcakes instead of NE then we'd have a 5-1 record and they'd be 4-2...

On the "why" question, assuming you're talking about the built for the cold point, I don't think they're as reliant on passing as we are. And O is impacted more by weather than D, so our strength is hurt more than theirs. But I agree, it would possibly be a very good game.

Most likely Super Bowl matchup: #Seahawks would be "pick'em" vs #Broncos (via bookmaker @JayKornegay)

Irish Stout 12-03-2013 08:09 AM

Polls about who we might see in the super bowl? We have no chance.

Well, yes I wouldn't be asking why their road record is better...they won more ;D

I think that's fair though.

No, I'll play. Our defensive woes make me VERY wary of Megatron. Better defenses have trouble with Calvin Johnson, and I don't see that as a good matchup...

Detroit is too up and down right now. There's no consistency with that team.
I don't know if they'd make it past the divisional round.
