Time for Sly to put on his big boy pants.

mwill07 11-26-2013 05:50 AM

well, that sucks. Big Vick was playing well, stupid penalties aside.

More PT for Malik? Unrein? Sly?

bpc 11-26-2013 05:56 AM

****.

GreatBronco16 11-26-2013 05:59 AM

Well that just fing sucks.

The Joker 11-26-2013 05:59 AM

A mix of more snaps for Sly and Wolfe at DT with Jackson at DE would be my guess.

This sucks, but this for DRC or Moreno would have sucked way more IMO.

Atwater His Ass 11-26-2013 06:29 AM

Williams isn't ready to step up. Would rather see Wolfe/Unrein/Jackson rotate.

randerson1184 11-26-2013 06:58 AM

You guys think we'll start playing a lot more 1-gap penetrating technique on the line instead of 2-gap scheme?

JLesSPE 11-26-2013 06:59 AM

Run defense just took a hit

Shhhhhhhhh. If Bmore and Price get wind of this talk this place is going to get nasty.

oubronco 11-26-2013 07:12 AM

"Next Man Up" and better produce!!

elsid13 11-26-2013 07:25 AM

That doesn't surprise me. When they announced further test were need I knew it was going to be long term injury. IR him and hope you find a big body out there that needs some work.

Sly will be good when he decides to keep moving his feet. He has the ability, but allows himself to get stonewalled after his first few steps. I'm not sure he gets it this year, but I expect to see him make a jump next year at training camp. Oh well, trial by fire for the rookie.

What ever happened to Siliga? I thought he was released from Seattle. At least he would be a familiar body in our system.

But not a huge one and maybe he can come back for the playoffs. Knighton is our run stopper. And hopefully this will allow Sylvester Williams to grow up faster.

chanesaw 11-26-2013 08:04 AM

Wolfe and Jackson will spend a bit more time at DT, and more playing time for Unrein and Williams. Keep him off IR, he can be back for the playoffs and we could need him then.

We already used the IR designated for return on Moore

I disagree that this isn't a huge loss. We finally get 2 big fat slobs to plug the middle of our d-line.....and one goes out.

We don't have put him on IR.

MABroncoFan 11-26-2013 09:00 AM

If they think he can be back for the playoffs (divisional round is in 7 weeks, I believe) then they should keep him on the roster. At least as long as they have Knighton, Williams and Unrein healthy.

The Joker 11-26-2013 09:14 AM

Yeah you can easily keep him on the roster, we've had one DT inactive plenty of games this year. Hopefully Sly can show some growth and then Vickerson returns healthy and fresh for the playoffs, with Sly having developed into a solid rotational guy by then.

mwill07 11-26-2013 09:16 AM

maybe he can take Champs spot on the inactives.

RunSilentRunDeep 11-26-2013 09:32 AM
