Nacho trash talking

That cost us 4-7 points. Wonder what he said. Wonder what JDR will have to say about this in the meetings this week.

cutthemdown 11-18-2013 01:25 AM

He said, "Do you happen to have any Grey Poupon?

cutthemdown 11-18-2013 01:26 AM

He said you keep playing like that and your team is going to treat you like Johnathan Martin.

Doggcow 11-18-2013 01:30 AM

That was such a bull**** call. If you're going to call that, you gotta call the bull**** on the Chiefs too. I saw them taunt a whole bunch.

rolandftw 11-18-2013 01:36 AM

If you're going to call it, then you need to call Brandon Flowers for some of the late hits on Welker.

It was a stupid penalty though. Can't really say it gave points to the Chiefs, as it would have been 3rd and 8, from the Broncos 12. I like the Broncos chances of getting a stop in that situation, but Bowe did score a TD on 3rd and 6 (even with the shove)

Bronco Yoda 11-18-2013 01:36 AM

I'm a pretty good lip reader and I'm pretty sure he said 'excuse me good sir, I apologize for shuting you down' let me show you back to your huddle. Not sure what's so bad about that.

Blueflame 11-18-2013 01:38 AM

He said "Pleased to meet you -- hope you guess my name -- but what's troublin' you is -- I took you outta your game -- oh yeah.

*apologies to the Stones -- lol

Well I can tell you during the game he said "3-3 (using his fingers) GET OFF THE FIELD". He then made him stand next to him and chewed his ass for the next few plays.

I like Nacho but he plays very wreckless at times. Several times he was out of position and his teammates were chewing him out. His talent is awesome, he just needs to play smarter.

OBF1 11-18-2013 01:44 AM

It was plain stupid of him to do, Make a play, shut your mouth and do not bump into the player while you TAUNT him. It was the right call, Act like a professional next time or you will be spending more time on the sidelines like you did after that play.

bpc 11-18-2013 02:12 AM

Awful call. There are 30-40 plays like that in every game. Ref chose an idiotic (or strategic time) to throw that flag. Then they followed it up on the following play by allowing D. Bowe to throw Webster on the ground. If you're going to call an offensive PI, that would have been the ideal case and they swallowed their whistle.

Agamemnon 11-18-2013 03:24 AM

The refs ****ed us all day, but that's been the story of the season since we opened up tearing people apart. I really have to wonder if there was a memo sent out to the refs to keep our games close (aka entertaining) to keep ratings up. I have literally never seen so many calls made against a team at such terrible times. They sustain drives for our opponents constantly.

Duke was crossing a line. I am glad they called him on it. He gave the refs all they needed to throw the flag. You just don't give the refs the opportunity in that down/yard situation. Whatever happened to just running back to the huddle. He lost his head just like Vickerson did a couple of weeks ago. It doesn't make a difference if the Chiefs were doing it too. I don't want to hear that logic from my children - these are grown men.

If it makes you feel any better, I was within shouting distance of the refs on both plays and had a thing or two to say. I doubt I'll get my voice back until Wednesday.

Jesterhole 11-18-2013 07:06 AM

It was stupid because they walked RIGHT IN FRONT of a ref while he was jawing at him. If you don't hear him, no flag. Nacho needs to be smarter and make plays. He hasn't done much of late.

rmsanger 11-18-2013 07:18 AM

You can take the _____ out of the _____ but you can't take the ______ out of the ______. Insert to your pleasure.

cmhargrove 11-18-2013 07:19 AM

Maybe not the most intelligent thing for Nacho to do, but I have to admit that I like our defense playing mean. I'll take a hard-hitting, trash talking, violent defense that protects our home field any day. The Chiefs defense was playing cheap, and as long as we keep a cushion on the scoreboard, this game was pretty personal.

I love the fire from Woodyard, Vickerson, and Nacho. Defense needs a swagger and I don't mind giving up a few penalties as long as it doesn't cost the team overall.

ColoradoDarin 11-18-2013 07:21 AM

Penalty deserved. Stupid move Nacho. He's young, he'll learn (hopefully). And yeah, can't believe Bowe didn't get a PI call when he completely shoved Webster on the TD - full extension of his arm to push, that usually gets called. It's like the refs knew KC needed help right from the beginning of the game....

Bronco Boy 11-18-2013 07:23 AM

He said "Call be Richie Incognito and you'll be Jonathan Martin you poo butt mother****er."

fontaine 11-18-2013 07:33 AM

I don't really care about the flag.

I care more about how poorly Duke plays in coverage. He doesn't have the footwork or ability to cover anyone all that well.

OldschoolFreak 11-18-2013 07:45 AM

Always annoying when they don't just shut up and play but...

What a freakin arbitrary and bad call. It's another story if he touches him but talking like that happens on like 95% of NFL plays. Now a hard blindside hit to level a player after the play is over should be a call but I guess the refs didn't mind the 4 times flowers did that to Welker. Pathetic officiating.

He was beat on the play.

I didn't understand the woofing at the receiver afterwards.

Agreed. These guys talk **** to each other all game long. We used to have Shannon Sharpe talking non-stop here. Weird flag.

Since we can't hear him, obviously we don't know what was said. I wonder if there's a "magic word" or line that isn't supposed to be crossed?

Yeah this. He was three feet away from the official. It was a lame call, but it was really stupid thing to do.
