This goes back to the Al Wilson lawsuit where his neck was messed up and he sued the team regarding the procedure/diagnosis.

Kuper messes up his ankle, he is out literally two years and needs multiple procedures. He came back last year, but was completely ineffective despite getting extra time off to deal with a elbow issue during the season.

J.D. Walton messes up his ankle, has surgery, then, all of a sudden, needs another surgery before training camp because obviously something went wrong with the first surgery.

Champ has a foot issue, 2nd game back, more issues with the foot.

Quentin Carter didn't even play in training camp this summer despite one whole year off because of a knee injury.

I'm probably over-reacting, but outside torn ACLs, we have no ****ing clue how to surgically repair and/or determine when a player should come back.

Woodyard was probable to return after his injury against dallas, i guess probable means out 2 and a half games

broncogary 10-20-2013 08:19 PM

Kuper didn't mess up his ankle. His foot got almost broken off.

So be it. Why bring him back 10 weeks earlier than he should have last season then? That damn foot bothered him all last season and was utterly useless in the playoffs.

**** happens. Seriously do you watch the games? How can you possibly be surprised by injuries?

Woodyard has never been probable on any injury report. Maybe an in game injury update...but nothing more.

I did, do you have any idea how much force is involved in these injuries and how often outcomes even after surgery are suboptimal?

Compare the Broncos to any other team. For every Adrian Peterson you can easily find two or three players who never regained their form followig injuries

LongDongJohnson 10-20-2013 08:25 PM

Oh shut the hell up. Football is a physical sport, injuries happen. Not all people heal the same and not everyone is Adrian Peterson. Walton and Carter have had bad luck. What's the medical staff to do? Some magical healing voodoo. Sprinkle some crack on the players?

Do you even remember Kupers injury? If you did you wouldn't be b****ing about how long it took for him to return to the field.

This IS PATHETIC!!!

bronco0608 10-20-2013 08:31 PM

Everyone is missing the point. Obviously, injuries are part of the game. Thanks to all the observant posters that just had to make that point.

There is definitely an issue with bringing players back to action BEFORE they are completely healthy and that goes back to 1) diagnosis and 2) the medical procedure performed. Those are the issues.

Hulamau 10-20-2013 08:31 PM

We are going to lose the game if DEcker and others dont run through the Colts holding them..
