Looked like woodyard was pissed when it happened and was ready to throw down. I don't believe its serious otherwise Woodyard wouldn't be saying he was fine?

Mogulseeker 10-08-2013 06:02 PM

Everybody says they're fine after an injury.

Unless you're Joe Staley.

Jon Heath @JonHeathNFL
RT @BroncosTV: On injuries to Harris, Ayers and Woodyard, John Elway just told me during podcast taping that none are long term.

Jon Heath @JonHeathNFL
Elway emphasized that it's about when Bailey feels ready to return and said they're hopeful for this week and will monitor him in practice.

"If Champ feels like he is ready to go this week, then he'll go," #Broncos V.P. John Elway told @BroncosTV on his podcast today.

Woody looked pissed after he got up off the turf. Anyone got any insight, or gif skilz to show what happened?

Drunken.Broncoholic2 10-08-2013 06:56 PM

Not long term could be 2 days or 4 weeks. That's about as vague as you can get.

Mogulseeker 10-08-2013 06:58 PM

I think we should hold them all out - Champ, Wood, Harris, at least - against Jax as a precautionary.

Thank God we're playing the Jags this week.

I'd agree to that, except Gabbert is sitting this one. That means they have an experienced QB who can at least sling the ball as opposed to a walking train wreck.

And they also said during the game that he was probable to return, so maybe they just held him out as a precaution.

I fear what our defense looks like without those guys against any team. If that's the case, bet the house on jax to cover that 28 pt spread!

Hopefully all of our guys will be fine.
Lucky for us, we're playing Jacksonvile which is also a perfect game to ease Champ back into the game and hopefully be ready for Indianapolis...

John Fox was on sirius radio today and he said that everybody should be good to go for Jax. The only player that he mentioned was Harris and that was just that he would sit out of practice Wednesday more than likely. But even he should be a go for Sunday.
