Broncos sign Winston Justice

I think it's a fantastic signing/contingency plan.

Drunk Monkey 09-18-2013 08:05 AM

Who did we cut?

MABroncoFan 09-18-2013 08:07 AM

I have a feeling Clady is going to go on IR/designated for return.

Kaylore 09-18-2013 08:08 AM

Yeah I think Clady will be put on IR. I think with Magazu's tutelage, Justice will be a quality reserve for us. When you play for a good team you try a little bit harder.

Drunk Monkey 09-18-2013 08:13 AM

Wouldn't he have to go to IR before we signed Justice?

either way, good depth.

If Clady goes to IR why do the Broncos need to cut someone?

Drunken.Broncoholic2 09-18-2013 08:17 AM

Justice makes Clark look suddenly great.

Can't afford ANY more injuries to the Oline. a couple more go down with freak ankle roll overs its mayhem.

Is Alex Gibbs still coaching or assisting in anyway the OL?

backup qb 09-18-2013 08:21 AM

I'm pretty sure Gibbs is still helping as I saw him on sidelines during the opener.

He was a consultant and he's not listed on the team site as a current coach. Not sure if he's still helping or not.

By the way, did anyone notice we have a coach named Jim Bob Cooter? he comes from Kansas City, of course. ROFL!

MABroncoFan 09-18-2013 08:25 AM

Not that he will help at tackle, but how close is Kuper to playing?

mennonite 09-18-2013 08:26 AM

"Former Vol backup quarterback "Jim Bob" Cooter, whose real name is James Robert Cooter, is facing aggravated burglary charges after allegedly getting into bed with a woman after climbing through a window of her Fort Sanders apartment, according to an arrest warrant."

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (AP) - Tennessee quarterback Jim Bob Cooter was suspended indefinitely Monday after campus police arrested him on a drunken-driving charge

He's gonna fit right in.

Maybe the man just wanted to get his cuddle on.

Rohirrim 09-18-2013 08:30 AM

Justice? meh Always had the talent, but couldn't, or wouldn't, bring it to the field.

Drunken.Broncoholic2 09-18-2013 08:31 AM

So another broncos Staff gets arrested. Ha!

4 years ago.......but that still raises the question as to why we hired this hillbilly.

I hate those wrong dates on links. I should've looked at the date down the page instead of on top

Cooter played for the Vols, worked on their staff and worked for the Colts. Who is quarterbacking this team? Manning couldn't land Reggie Wayne, Jeff Saturday, or Dwight Freeney - but at least he got us some Cooter.

On the bright side, the more booze he drinks, the less there will be available for other Broncos management. Elway is always thinking 10 steps ahead.

I'm surprised you feel this way after seeing him run out of Philadelphia. The fans hated him here after Umenyiora took him from behind without lube several years back.

ColoradoDarin 09-18-2013 09:05 AM

Now that Clark is the starter, we needed a backup.
