Haha... They'll learn soon enough Peyton, forgive them.

Instead of cute signs on the jumbo-tron that say "Offense at work" or whatever. How about a very clear one. "Shut the **** Up".

Also I should be able to use that text line (you know, the one you can use to tattle on people for being idiots) to get people removed who won't shut the hell up.

OBF1 08-27-2013 08:41 PM

I have been saying the same thing for years... I thought Denver fans were better than this, well hoping anyway. Let's see if they can act like fans that know better.

Peyton has spoken.

Mogulseeker 08-27-2013 08:52 PM

I didn't mind so much last year... but now a year into it.

I couldn't believe it at the preseason game last Saturday. In the fourth quarter, when we're about to score and take the lead... it gets really, really loud. In the South Stands, too, people were banging the wall.

It's going to drive me crazy.

I can't believe that the crowd is still this stupid. During a drive with the ones last week they got louder when Denver was in the redzone and Manning is like WTF quiet down. Even before Manning it was known to not be a loud drunk moron when the home team offense has the ball. Indy home games were so quiet it was almost eery.

beanerbronco 08-27-2013 09:21 PM

That play cracked me up; if you listen closely Manning audibles "Montana, Montana", sprints right and finds DT in the back of the end zone! Im sure the next time we hear Montana as an audible it won't be a sprint to the right.

Anyways, shatap yall

It's Tim Tebow's fault.

extralife 08-27-2013 09:37 PM

it's really embarrassing that our fans are so damn stupid.

ZONA 08-27-2013 10:19 PM

I remember watching plenty of Colts games and those fans knew to shut the hell up. You could hear a coin drop when the Colts were on offense.....hahaha.

Kaylore 08-27-2013 10:57 PM

They're really stupid. Like one of the stupidest in the NFL.

OBF1 08-28-2013 12:33 AM

we are #1 wooohooo

SeedReaver 08-28-2013 05:19 AM

I was actually impressed most of the game. You could hear a pin drop on third down. unfortunately it seems like the fans havent been trained for fourth down yet. Plus once Peyton waved his hands to tell everyone to shut up it got quiet real fast like a bunch of kids in trouble from dad haha

I think you have a stadium full of fans that don't normally attend regular season games

regular season I'd be suprised to see this happen

It definitely gets better during the regular season. But last year people were doing the wave while the offense was on the field. There is no excuse for that.

Bingo! Season ticket holders give out their preseason tickets to people who love the Broncos, but have never been to games. I really noticed it last Saturday. I doubt this happens when the real season kicks in.

bronco militia 08-28-2013 07:13 AM

so what happens when the broncos are on the road on 4th and 1?

cry me a river, Peanut Head. learn some hand signals for ****s sakes

Play2win 08-28-2013 07:18 AM

Oh, for the days of Old Mile High and true Rocky Mountain Thunder...

Anyway, pass me the cheese, and yes, I'll some wine with that thank you very much. :approve:

You should read his quotes first before commenting. He said it would be nice to not have to use hand signals at home and actually get a home field advantage.

yeah, I know. Just tired of the posters above bashing the fans again. It was a preseason game for ****s sake. Most of the Season ticket holders were not at this game.

ColoradoDarin 08-28-2013 07:44 AM

Didn't Brock ask for quiet at one point in the red zone (flapping his huge, gigantic, freakish, long bird arms downward) and I thought the crowd roared louder.

But yeah, preseason crowd.

If the fans act like retards, they should expect to be called out.

During that game, with Manning in the red zone, when everyone was screaming, my buddy and I were trying to quiet people down. "RED ZONE, we're on offense, don't scream." The looks we got were of the "ITS MAH FREEDUMBZ AH'LL DO WUT AH WANT" variety.

Isn't that difficult people.

Smilin Assassin 08-28-2013 10:41 AM

Hopefully his request will spread as fast and as wide as the "Remove Flacco Posters" did.

It's a huge advantage if the crowd is quiet while we're on offense. Especially with Peyton getting to the line so quick, he basically has 20-25 seconds to call as many audibles/fake audibles as he wants. IF we're quiet enough.

And, Peyton being ever the prepared, it will keep the crowd fresh for that fourth quarter rumble if the opposing team is still in the game.

*Shakes head* Is Peyton Manning REALLY our QB? How cool is this?!
