Early scans on Wolfe are negative. Champ and Vasquez dinged up.

CT scan (fancy X-ray) shows no broken bones in Wolfe's vertebrae. MRI is next. Champ's foot injury is apparently minor. No word on Vasquez.

Thank God.

Sounds like Wolfe might just have a sprained neck. I sure hope so.

If you want to read stuff that will make your blood boil, read this about Wolfe:

Look at those inbred retards thinking this game means the Broncos are going to be bad this season. Hilarious!

I don't care what those fat, inbred meth addicts say. They are no doubt hoping he dies of some bad disease and predicting this preseason game means we'll suck this year since the preaseason for a chief's fan is all they have.

I am more worried about Wolfe. I don't want anyone to get paralyzed. Thankfully it sounds like he has full mobility and may be ok.

Fingers crossed. Sounds like he'll be ok. Never like seeing the ambulance roll out on the field.

DenverBroncosJM 08-17-2013 09:07 PM

Hopefully Wolfe is okay

Lycan 08-17-2013 09:16 PM

I really hope Wolfe is okay, that was a scary looking injury.

go_broncos 08-17-2013 09:26 PM

I hope he is OK..

McDman 08-17-2013 09:31 PM

I feel like the people who actuallt saw the injury realized it wasn't good,

BroncoInferno 08-17-2013 09:53 PM

Ok I am only just now catching up. Does this mean "negative will be ready for the season" or "negative will probably walk someday"?

theAPAOps5 08-17-2013 09:54 PM

Seeing as how he is getting released to join the team flight back home I think Wolfe will recover just fine.

He can move right now and there is no broken bone. Judging from what I've heard... Shounds like he's out for the year, and were looking at whether or not its career ending.

I hope I'm wrong.

There's no way to know how severe it is from simply watching it happen. That's what broken necks look like and that's what sprained necks look like. No way to know how bad it is until all the test results come in. So far it's looking like it's not that bad.

What on earth are you basing that off of? So far they have said x-rays were negative. They are waiting on MRI results. If those are negative, it's likely a sprained neck. When it comes to neck injuries they are going to handle them all like a broken neck, but they can end up being relatively minor in the end.

But they wouldn't release him to join the team if it were season ending serious would they?

I'm on a delay right now. So you're saying he should be back sometime this season?

Gutless Drunk 08-17-2013 09:59 PM

Gray Caldwell ‏@GrayCaldwell 30s
Word is that Vasquez's knee injury is not serious

Mike Klis ‏@MikeKlis 1m
RG Louis Vasquez's knee flared up. But doesn't appear to be serious

SoCalBronco 08-17-2013 10:02 PM

Rub some meth on it.

In all seriousness...I'm hoping for some good news..he is very important to the DL.

I don't think anyone knows at this point. We're all going to have to wait to hear how much time he's going to miss.
