Torn ACL/MCL. Same knee as before.

55CrushEm 08-14-2013 02:32 PM

Ooops. Already posted in the general thread. My bad.

Had to point it out myself before the momo's attack me.

Looks like Patsy Fans don't have to shell out for a Start Tebow billboard!

^ I assume you're speculating, right? I don't think this has been definitively reported.

I guess God wants to see Tebow play. Just kidding.

I'll wait until I hear from Med.

Rabb 08-14-2013 02:41 PM

And it's Tebow's birthday.

I guess God decided not to cheap out with a gift card this year?

I just read about this and it said nothing about anything except he limped off the field quite gingerly but by himself. Eh, probably like his "injured shoulder" that he's on the injury report as questionable every week. Just Belichick trying to get something new to throw teams off.

I honestly will be kind of sad if the ACL/MCL rumor is true. He's heading into the back end of his career and it would be a shame to see one of the best players of this generation now miss two entire seasons on knee injuries.

I didn't see the Pats as the biggest threat in the AFC either way, but it loses some great drama if they aren't in the hunt.

ColoradoDarin 08-14-2013 02:45 PM

Then an angel priest came over and Brady blew him for about 10 minutes and was all better. But it turns out the "angel priest" was just a guy who left a gay pride parade early to catch the Pats practice.

Rabb 08-14-2013 02:46 PM

In all seriousness, I don't like seeing this with any player and definitely not with one of the greats.

Well what I read was he limped off the field and hadn't returned 30 minutes later. Another article says he missed one play and came back to finish the drill. You couldn't get a straight story out of New England anymore than you can get Belichick to be honest.

Rohirrim 08-14-2013 02:48 PM

McD calling the Vikes: "What do you want for Cassell?"

Old Dude 08-14-2013 02:49 PM

He reportedly walked off the field and into the locker room under his own power, so that would suggest it's probably not too bad. But this is the same knee that was injured in 2008, so that's a cause for concern.

I don't like seeing it happen to the player (most that is) but I love seeing it happen to Belichick
