Tom Heckert, the Broncos' recently hired director of pro personnel, was arrested in Parker on the night of June 11 and charged with driving under the influence and careless driving, according to the Douglas County Sheriff's Department.
Pretty ****ty way to head into training camp.

June 11?
Are we underpaying the front office? Can't afford a cab?

Whatever, better the FO guys than the players. But way to lead by example, fellas!

Jesterhole 07-09-2013 05:11 PM

Well, they didn't fire that guy, so it seems doubtful that we'll fire the other.

Kid A 07-09-2013 05:14 PM

FO full of gutless drunks.

ZONA 07-09-2013 05:21 PM

I think he should be put on leave without pay and a team fine. Should not be just players who have to pay for mistakes.

And while not team related, what he did was stupid. Take a cab, get a room, whatever. I know alot of people say that getting intoxicated makes you lose common sense, and while that may be true, if you know you're going to be drinking heavy, make arrangements before hand. If you don't, have some frickin will power for god sake and have 1 or 2 and stop. He's lucky he didn't kill himself or somebody else. What a fool.

OBF1 07-09-2013 05:41 PM

Is there nothing to do but drink and drive in and around the mile high city???

hades 07-09-2013 05:46 PM

Stuff usually happens in 3's, who will be next???

07-09-2013 05:53 PM

I think it was a big mistake for Elway to install Coors Light keg refrigerators in everyone's office.

Lestat 07-09-2013 06:03 PM

seriously? get a ****ing cab!

ColoradoDarin 07-09-2013 06:18 PM

ak1971 07-09-2013 08:18 PM

Elway needs to teach his staff how to drink and driver properly w/o getting caught. These guys are amateurs next to the duke

cutthemdown 07-09-2013 08:26 PM

To be honest I could see Elway and Bowlen as the type of men who when you go to meet with them at 2pm they offer you some whiskey like JR Ewing at the ranch lol. They will be pissed but i bet they are all a bunch of drunks. They aren't gutless though they have tons of guts.
