Decker has been great value where we got him. Hats off front office.

hard to argue over any of those guys on the list. All great players

Gronkwski being ranked so high as a second rounder is a little off IMHO.

I agree. Gronk's set records, but still... I mean, he was an early 2nd rounder.

Will the 2011 one call JJ Watt a steal just because he wasn't 1st overall?

I'd also put him ahead of Chancellor and Brown. Probably Hernandez too.

Dennis Pitta is interesting because at one point he was considered one of the best tight ends coming out and then got over-evaluated. He is one of the few BYU players I really wanted us to draft because I thought he could help us, not just because he was a cougar. He should have been drafted higher, so while a fourth rounder was excellent value, he should have been a second round pick.

Hahah I said the same thing in my post right above this one, but my phone auto corrected Gronkowski to Cronkite.

What makes it worse is he was picked with a fourth we traded to them for the Tebow pick. . .

Both Gronkowski and Hernandez are too high. Gronkowski had 1 season with 1000 yards which was a really amazing season but he was a top 2nd round draft pick at a position that is usually not very highly drafted and now he is injured again. Jimmy Graham has as many yards as Gronkowski despite being drafted 1.5 rounds later and he is 2 spots lower on the list? makes no damn sense. Hernandez hasn't had 1000 yards or 10 TDs in a season and he is injured all the time.

You can't really put Victor Cruz on a list of value picks since he wasn't picked.

Him getting a ring was the only bit of happiness I found in the Ravens winning the SB.

why? Brown is the only guy you could argue he could be over and Brown is more dynamic than Decker.

BroncoMan4ever 05-29-2013 10:51 AM

how are 2nd rounders value picks? guys picked in the 2nd are expected to be starters their rookie year in most cases. sure he has been beastly, but that isn't a value selection. Hernandez in the 4th on the other hand is.

so Decker is ranked 9th best value of the 2010 draft huh?

I find that amazing, because prior to last season we were constantly told he sucked and that he couldn't get separation, ran the wrong routes and dropped passes with cinder blocks for hands, etc......

Values value. Rodgers was a a steal at 24th overall, just like Gronk is a steal in the 2nd for being the most talented TE in the NFL. His TD pace in his early career is up there with the likes of Randy Moss. Hes only missed 5 games.

The only change I would make to the list is put Graham ahead Chancellor because hes top 3 at his position but I dont think Chancellor is, at least yet. Great list though.
