BPA my nutsack.

SoCalBronco 04-26-2013 08:05 PM

Corner depth. Not sure it was priority one....although it prolly didn't help that Moore and Lemonier went off the board before us.

rmsanger 04-26-2013 08:05 PM

weaksauce draft this far. D-

baja 04-26-2013 08:06 PM

Is mike Shanahan back in the war room?

04-26-2013 08:06 PM

I don't even know who he is.

FireFly 04-26-2013 08:06 PM

Well... That was a surprising pick. For me at least

yerner 04-26-2013 08:07 PM

I hope he can fill Jack Williams shoes.

Requiem 04-26-2013 08:07 PM

The pick is a ****ing F minus.

gyldenlove 04-26-2013 08:07 PM

This pick confuses me. We have no depth at DE and LB but we have 5 CBs who will be ahead of this guy.

04-26-2013 08:07 PM

A good tackler and a physical corner, see ya later tony carter

Depth? Yeah, as a Camp body and he will be gone in the first wave of cuts. Massive reach here, this guy was going to be available later on and possibly as a UDFA. What a disaster of a pick.

baja 04-26-2013 08:08 PM

Maybe they heard the Chargers were going to take him next

Popps 04-26-2013 08:10 PM

So, everyone's happy then?

04-26-2013 08:11 PM

Why draft him this high? Hope the guy pans out but he doesn't seem too impressive...

Old Dude 04-26-2013 08:11 PM

I think he'll be tried out at safety. We can't be any worse there than we already are.

Broncos selected South Florida CB Kayvon Webster with the No. 90 overall pick.
Webster (5-foot-10 1/2, 195) started 32 games for the Bulls, amassing three interceptions, 8.5 tackles for loss, and four forced fumbles. He ran 4.41 at the Combine with a 35-inch vertical and 10-foot-5 broad jump. A coaching-staff favorite at South Florida, Webster is a smart corner and "character guy" who rarely gambles in coverage. He has a chance to contribute earlier than his draft slot suggests. The Broncos are preparing to move 34-year-old Champ Bailey to safety at some point in the near future

Yep. big reach. We could have picked him up next week.

04-26-2013 08:12 PM

Jesus, another CB?

04-26-2013 08:12 PM

Utterly mystifying...

mwill07 04-26-2013 08:12 PM

Champ
DRC
Harris
Bolden
Carter
and now Webster.

Outside of drafting Champs eventual replacement or someone that can make DRC expendable in 2014, I don't understand a DB here in general, much less someone that no one has ever heard of.

24champ 04-26-2013 08:13 PM

Compares to Roc Alexander.

cmhargrove 04-26-2013 08:13 PM

They must be serious when they said Nate Irving was getting the nod for MLB this year...

stoxman 04-26-2013 08:13 PM

I try not to badmouth Elway. Didn't like Oz in the 2nd last year in win now mode but he's done a great job.

And now this REACH. puke.

Rnd 1--Great pick.
Rnd 2--Good pick.
Rnd 3--**** the bed
