I'm surprised the economy hasn't fixed itself despite Obama by now. But rich people are patient they can wait Obama out.

We have allowed a feudalistic economic system to be implemented in America that actually rewards reductions in labor. Presidents have nothing to do with it.

Lots and lots of money on the sidelines. Bond market is at the cliff. It'll get interesting soon enough...

We haven't reduced labor - we've either offshored it or imported cheaper foreign labor.

And the media cover for these abysmal figures by going feel good and rah-rah for gay marriage and endless appeals to pity for illegal aliens.

the holy grail is "Generally Accepted Accounting Principles" or GAAP. change them and change the world.

e.g. mark to market rules. look at the catastrophic effects that a simple rule change had on the world "economy".

change GAAP to move human capital from a cost to an asset and corporations would be fighting tooth and nail to increase employment.

Technology, ease of Globally Trasnported goods and the fact the growth in the US economy has been and will likely be flat for the forseeable future is really the culprit.

Really, Americans can look in the mirror if the want to know who casues much of the issue. with 70% of he US economic activity coming at the hands of consumers, its doesn't take long to kill Americans jobs and domestic growth as Americans chose to purchase foreighn made goods. Walmart certainly doesn't mind.

Maybe what we should do is have less people in this country?

LOL You think that's what "rich people" are doing? Waiting Obama out? The reality is they're doing what they always do: getting richer. Have you paid attention to what the market is doing? Like, at all? Any idea who's benefitting from all the corporate profits, the near record equity prices, low interest rates, and improving housing market? You think all that wealth is just disappearing? Waiting Obama out. Get that ****ing stupid bull**** outta here you moron.
