will be interesting to see if he competes for a starting spot this year. He displayed good form tackling ability his rookie year but his lack of foot speed will always be a problem.

That cheating son of a bit....wait...god I love this guy, gonna be a solid player for us!!

That little 5 dollar craps bet cost him some coin I'm sure. I wonder how much he paid the casino to drop the case?

Probably very little. They don't care about his sad little 3rd round pick money. They got their publicity when the case broke, got an example made of him, got their name out there. It would not surprise me if they just dropped the case outright. Small potatoes.

Your right they don't care about how much money he has or has to lose. Why would they drop the case against him for nothing? They had him by the balls and knew he would pay them to drop the case. The Casino won in this situation.

I think Denver is in the market for a CB because they do not believe he is the answer. I guess down the stretch he wore down tremendously. He is only 180 lbs or so. I think Denver is looking at him as tremendous depth but not an every down player.

He is a good guy to have on the team just do not overuse.

Are you talking about Quinton Carter the Safety or Tony Carter the CB? I thought Tony Carter played above average up until the playoffs.

I think he'll either start at SS, or see a lot of time at both FS and SS as a backup.

He's got a nose for the ball, and I believe he is a better safety than Mike Adams.

True, but I think he's as quick as most of the TE's in the league.

I think youre confused man, Quinton Carter is like 210, Tony Carter is like 180 but he has tremendous speed... You kinda grouped the two of them together.

Adams is better in run support, I haven't seen anything from Carter that proves he is better than Adams in coverage, I would give coverage a push.

I was hoping for more from Adams when we signed him, he didn't have a very good year, at his age you don't think he will get better than he is now. One can only hope our Safety play improves because last year starters were crap all season.

yeah, you got the wrong Carter dude.

Tony Carter will make the team. He is a bit small but he can cover man to man routes really well. Also a great set of hands for a DB. The other carter, eh, not sure about him really. I think we can do better.

Quinton had a much better rookie year than Raheem did. I see no reason not to be excited about him. Competent in coverage and displayed well above average tackling ability. Assuming he's recovered from his injury, he has a chance to start.

I was talking about Tony Carter. I read in DP I believe that the coaches saw he was wearing down and making more mistakes after the fast start.

I am hoping Quinton Carter is the ANSWER at safety. I hope he recovers from his injury, foot injuries suck.

Agreed, the case must have been borderline airtight, or they wouldn't have filed charges. Gaming Commission runs Nevada, the casino and NGC dropped the charges, almost certainly for a cash settlement (although that's illegal, at least in California).

The charges might be "dropped," but I'll bet QC doesn't set foot in that or any other casino for 3 to 5 years, maybe ever. Lifetime ban is pretty standard I think.

I want a safety in Round 1, maybe trade back a few spots ...
