In the last hour I've been offered Jared Allen for 28 and Trent Cole for our 4th round pick.

Not sure on either as both are over 30.

Remember that cap implications are non-existent in this 2nd version of FFMD

eddie mac 04-10-2013 01:42 PM

My big board for 28

Cyprien
Sylvester Williams
Jesse Williams
Ogletree
Eifert
Carradine
Short
Lacy
Okafor
Reid

Requiem 04-10-2013 02:39 PM

Ogletree and it is a no brainer.

ludo21 04-10-2013 03:17 PM

Lacy
Williams
Ogletree

eddie mac 04-10-2013 03:51 PM

Might be trading the pick

Teams looking to move up for Eifert

I'd take Jared Allen for the 28th pick and laugh all the way to his Hall of Fame induction.

Allen turned 31 years old a few days ago, but has some good seasons left in the tank.

Plus, it would be simply grand seeing him wreak havoc on Kansas City twice a season.

I'm absolutely ****ing raging. My staff out voted me and made me select Eifert.

Unfortunately that's the way these things go sometimes, I could've had 34, 122 and 227 from the Niners, little bastards.

Mediator12 04-10-2013 05:01 PM

I would be OK with Eifert personally, I think he is one of 2 Elite players left on the board. I would have preferred to trade back though as well ;D

Requiem 04-10-2013 05:19 PM

That is because Football's Future.com is ****ing dog****. I used to be a moderator there and did graphics for the website until I found out the webmaster was a slimeball **** and used things of mine without my permission. Then again, I was like 15 when those forums opened, but still. Site is stupid as piss and filled with teenage tards.

Who's the other Med?

BowlenBall 04-11-2013 05:14 AM

Ouch -- the trade-down to 34 would have been the best call.

Oh well, Eifert's a nice consolation prize -- just not one of our top 5 areas of need.

eddie mac 04-11-2013 04:20 PM

Been offered Jared Allen and 4-120 for 58 and our 2014 1st rd pick. Is Allen worth that anymore??? Maybe was a year or 2 ago.

ludo21 04-11-2013 04:38 PM

great pick, love Eifert!

58 and a future 2 is the max I'd give for Allen

BowlenBall 04-12-2013 11:11 AM

#58 AND a 2014 1st-rounder? For a 32-year-old ten-year vet?

Only if you're Al Davis.

Requiem 04-12-2013 11:34 AM

Absolutely not. Tell the Hornhead people on that board they are off their rockers. They already have enough picks anyways and obviously blew it in this draft taking a DE before a WR.

Hopkins is the EXACT WR they need on offense and they just **** that down their leg. . . and then went for Kevin Williams replacement on the DL.

So basically, those retards are trying to replace a Pro-Bowl DT and DE when it isn't even necessary for them right now. . . and the fact that they are devoid corners on defense, need a MIKE and have two gaping holes at WR.

Werner is not a replacement for Allen. And while I like Sy Williams, it was just overkill. Those clowns have no idea what they are doing.

No, and Hell No.

He is worth a lot still but not Long term and what could be had at 58 and next years #32 ;D

rugbythug 04-12-2013 04:56 PM

Allen is exactly the player we need need.

I would agree for the short term, but not at that price. That is a steep price to pay for a player who is near the end of their prime. It's always about cost benefit. 8')

rugbythug 04-13-2013 07:42 AM

We are shooting for Lombardis on the short term. I get team building but you also need to strike while the Iron is hot.
