Sickening watching Elvis at ratbirds news conference

NFLN showing news conference right now.
Reminds me of when Sharpe went to the dark side.
Makes me sick.

Elvis mentioned religion several times, funny how he and his agent
screwed it up. Denver paid the guy while he healed up and his religion let him forget all that.

Sad deal all around...............

He'll feel stupid watching the Broncos hoist the Lombardi trophy while he's sitting on his couch

TheReverend 03-26-2013 12:55 PM

Over ****ing pennies.

Stupid from start to finish by ALL parties involved.

...except Baltimore. They landed a ****ing coup.

Baba Booey 03-26-2013 01:20 PM

I'm for letting Peyton & Co. do the talking when we play them. See where his God is then.

Good mile high beatdown of his new team along with shutting him out which as we all has happened quite a bit and I'll be real happy.

Karma is real.

No way they go 7-9 with that front 7. They're a playoff team, and probably a superbowl contender.

Weren't they 8-8 the first time they won it all?

rbackfactory80 03-26-2013 06:08 PM

I just deep throated a patriot pop

yerner 03-26-2013 06:22 PM

yeah, it's ****ing depressing. kind of took the air out of all the good things they did early in free agency.

SoDak Bronco 03-26-2013 06:44 PM

Question,,do we get any comp pick compensation from his departure or not since he was released???

It was worst case scenario, imo:

- We lost one of our best defensive players
- No trade, so we received nothing in return
- Cut, so no future compensatories to even look forward to
- Dead money from cut + replacement salary won't even provide a worthwhile volume of cap relief

SonOfLe-loLang 03-26-2013 06:56 PM

They're not going to make the playoffs this year. The bengals will win that division and I doubt the wild card will be coming from there!

Hamrob 03-26-2013 06:59 PM

Good riddence.

Over rated

Liability in the run game

Not worth $8m/yr...let alone $12m

I'd rather give Ayers a go. Here's my thinking. I believe we will have just as many sacks, QB pressures etc. this year as we did last. In JDR I trust.

Draft a stud rookie at #28 and plug him in and off we go.

No player should hold a team hostage for big money...unless they are super elite. Doom...Nope....that's not him!

This is the most rational run down posted about this debacle.

Couple of you guys seem to forget the fact that the ravens were given the ring. They were clearly the worst SB team ever but Goodell was trying to win favor with the players so he rallied the league and the refs around raylewis and gave them the ring.

They were not, and now definitely are not, good.

03-26-2013 08:16 PM

Out here in Jersey many many people don't know much about dummerville if they know of him at all. But they all know of Von Miller. Elvis left the building far too often and kinda disappeared too often.

I'd be FAR more concerned if we lost Von.

Interesting. So tell me, what caused Rahim the daydream to be a fuggin idiot when we were a 98.99494% favorite to win in the last 30 seconds?

03-26-2013 09:17 PM

A scary situation would be Von get hurt. Think of that pass rush. Puke
