Reggie Bush is competing with a few free agent tailbacks. But he'll pick between Denver, Arizona and Detroit. I hear Denver is the leader.

I would take him over Mendenhall any day. Get er done Elway.

Heyneck 03-11-2013 07:40 AM

Steven Jackson!!! But yeah I agree, this is a much better than than going after Mendenhall.

bpc 03-11-2013 07:40 AM

Not surprised. Bush could be very dangerous with a Peyton Manning at qb.

LRtagger 03-11-2013 07:46 AM

I would love this pickup!

bigbucks24 03-11-2013 07:47 AM

Get ready for a few big plays and a lot of dancing behind the line.

BroncoInferno 03-11-2013 07:49 AM

But Incarcerated Bob said we were going to sign Jackson?!

Anyway, this would make sense. Bush is an excellent receiver which makes him a good fit with Manning.

Kaylore 03-11-2013 07:51 AM

Well the Broncos can like what they will, but I prefer if she keeps her lawn at least mowed.

Rohirrim 03-11-2013 07:51 AM

I love me some bush!

TheElusiveKyleOrton 03-11-2013 07:54 AM

Steven Jackson > Reggie Bush > Rashard Mendenhall

I concur but will also add to trim the edges for a clean look

Nailed it. Dude is the closest thing to Marshall Faulk out there, and thats what this offense needs. Just want him to work on his pass pro. Hes not bad at it, but he isnt great either. However, he really has shown in MIA that he can indeed run between the tackles, and be an every down back. Put him with Peyton and this offense, and you literally have a monster offense.

The Bush from Florida? I know Elway and Bowlen are big Republicans, but I'm just not seeing Jeb as a real contender come 2016.

Well sure, but once you're married with kids both of you are lucky to get any "yard work" done. I just don't want it looking like 1973 down there.

You're right, we should really stick with garbage like McGahee behind the line. Heaven forbid we have a RB who is actually capable of a big play.

txtebow 03-11-2013 08:03 AM

Shon Greene and Reggie Bush. Me likes!!; add a speedburner through the NFL draft @ the WR position then focus on MLB, Safety and DT and we are ready to roll! I think I'm going to get a luxury box at the death star for our visit to Arlington; I'd like to personally invite Requiem and Houghtam....

SouthStndJunkie 03-11-2013 08:05 AM

If Denver signs him, I'll be able to post this after big plays:

TonyR 03-11-2013 08:13 AM

I have trouble believing this. Too much overlap with what the team is expecting from Hillman. That and probably too expensive. Can't see this happening.

Beantown Bronco 03-11-2013 08:17 AM

Travis Henry likes where this thread is going.

SpringStein 03-11-2013 08:17 AM

What does this say about Hillman? I thought he was our poor man's Reggie.

Requiem 03-11-2013 08:20 AM

Reggie would by my #2 option behind Steven Jackson. I can see that he would rather play for a winning team rather than Detroit or Arizona. We will see though.

mopatt24 03-11-2013 08:27 AM

I hope this is true. He would be a great addition to the squad

Rohirrim 03-11-2013 08:29 AM

I would prefer Jackson over Bush. I think Jackson strikes fear into opposing defenses. His presence in the backfield gives Peyton more openings downfield, not to mention what he brings on the ground.

edog24 03-11-2013 08:30 AM

How does he block? It seems like unless we develop some type of play that involves 2 RBs this would telegraph a run play instantly.

He's an elite receiver out of the backfield and has proven he can run effectively over the last two years. He'd be an interesting weapon to have. I'm for it.
