If past history is any indicator, a couple of the guys on this list could become Broncos.

Please post any updates! (thanks Lycan, Req, and DB4L)

I do not want Teo. He was abused by the closest team that resemble a pro team in college. Abused. Teams it wasn't because of his Internet secret either

cutthemdown 03-06-2013 02:27 AM

Oh I like Winters he's a good pick for like the Broncos in the 2nd or 3rd round. More then likely he goes before our pick in the 3rd. I like Warford better though.

cutthemdown 03-06-2013 02:28 AM

LOL Alabama olineman were throwing Notre Dame lineman like rag dolls then hitting the 2nd level on linebackers who were overwhelmed. I would take TEO i think he will be a good starting inside linebacker. But hes more like a top 50 player not a top 32 IMO. Just seems like a tad of a reach in the first, and by 2nd round he will be gone.

Of course it didn't have anything to do with the internet girlfriend deal. But do you dispute that it had A LOT to do with him and Barrett Jones becoming real acquainted that game as the Alabama OL consitently hit the second level, leaving Te'o to fill 5 yard wide gaps?

He didn't have his best game to be sure, but he wasn't exactly put in a position to shine either against a far superior 11 man roster.

Lycan 03-06-2013 06:22 AM

Looks like the list got updated, add these guys:

Oday Aboushi, OL, Virginia (COM)
Keenan Allen, WR, California (COM)
T.J. Barnes, DL, Georgia Tech (COM)
Kwame Geathers, DL, Georgia (COM)
Jordan Hill, DL, Penn State (SR)
DeAndre Hopskins, WR, Clemson (COM)
Keelan Johnson, DB, Arizona State (EW)
T.J. McDonald, DB, USC (SR)
Vance McDonald, TE, Rice (SR)
Leon McFadden, DB, San Diego State (COM)
John Simon, DL, Ohio State (SR)
Desmond Trufant, DB, Washington (COM)
B.W. Webb, DB, William & Mary (COM)

Lycan 03-06-2013 06:25 AM

Trufant and Hopkins are two of my favorites for this draft, so I like that they are coming in.

Swope, Winters and Thomas are interesting as well.

03-06-2013 06:51 AM

I don't like Swoope...

His hands are rocks, he catches with his body..

I just think he's a product of notre dames schedule. Maybe I'm a bit unbias cause I don't like that team very much

They played Michigan State, Michigan, USC, Oklahoma, Stanford, and Miami.

There schedule was pretty tough, and to ignore his performance over the entire season and focus on one game is assinine.

Rolando McClain looked great too. I was told the same thing back then too. I just think he's not going to be anything great at the next level.

cutthemdown 03-07-2013 05:07 PM

I don't see the 4th or 5th best guard in draft, (winters) lasting until the end of the 4th round like the mock above. Most likely he plays guard in the NFL and gets drafted middle of the 3rd round to very top of the 4th round.

McClain looked great playing with NFL ready talent with him. I don't see T'eo playing with as much NFL talent as McClain was at the college level.

So Teo went from stud too dud because he may not use his pud to peoples liking? Or because he struggled against a team with 3 high draft picks on the oline and another at RB? I don't watch enough college football to say but we could use a good middle linebacker if he falls. I do know that if Notre Dame didn't have high quality dlineman against those 3 pro ready olineman then the backers on Notre Dame never had a chance.

Mostly because he is slower than what we need and because he would be a target - he said himself that the stress caused him to underperform at the combine, imagine what happens when the stress is 60 guys in his own dressing room making him the butt of every joke during TC and in week 1 when all 50 players on the other team plus how ever many 1000 fans will taunting him, how is he going to deal with that? This is a guy who needs to be a leader on the team and if he can't handle the stress when nobody is picking on him imagine how he could crumble when **** gets real?

I am not sure throwing a 1st round pick at a guy who comes with a very real and tangible risk of folding like a piece of origami is the way to go.

Requiem 03-08-2013 10:52 AM

Well, gyldenlove -- you also said that Casey Hayward was the next Alphonso Smith. . .

Lestat 03-08-2013 11:54 AM

i'm getting the distinct feeling that Elway loves him some Keenan Allen.

Can't say I blame him. The dude is a boss baller. Allen should be gone by pick 20, if not the Texans will take him at 27, so don't get your hopes up.

And people said Cam Newton was the next big thing in QBing, it takes more than a decent rookie season to be a player.

62 touchdowns and 9,400 yards passing and rushing in his first two seasons. Pretty good.

And Hayward had the best completion percentage allowed in the NFL as a rookie and was third in DROY honors. He is good and your comparison sucked dick.
