Thats nor right I think. In 2005 the Broncos beat the Pats in the Reg. Season and in the Post Season.

The pats won the regular season matchup that year... The game that got them to 16-0. Anyway not sure where the OP got this stat. In 06 they lost to the Colts who beat them in the regular season as well.

So really, all their loses are against teams they've played in the Regular season. That tells you it was scheme the first time and the second time, when there was nothing to fool them, they were able to beat them.

Whoops, I mis-read the previous post. Didn't realize the Giants beat them twice last year.

They lost to Den (05) and NYG (11) in the regular season.

In 8 games where the Pats (in the BB era) played a team in the playoffs they beat in the regular season they are 4-4.

Several of those wins came after spying on teams though.

In the second games, defenses changed their calls. All the video evidence at that point was irrelevant.

Fun trivia fact....the Patriots have won zero Super Bowl since they got caught cheating.

Here an another fun trivia fact since the Spygate story broke (9-2007) Brady has twice as many post season wins than Manning.

If and when you get to Denver I don't think you'll be feeling very lucky at all.

I give you Dever fans a pass at being so confident it's your first year with Peyton. It's the playoffs and if Peyton played as well in the post season as he did in the regular season he'd have 5 rings by now. 10 times in 19 games (more than half) he scored less than 20 points in the playoffs. You think this is the best offense he's had ? Wayne, Clark, Harrison, Glenn, Saturday, Faulk and James he's played with great offenses and played many of the games in a dome.


Look if this is a regular season game then you should be confident. Your defense is definitely better than ours and your at home, but becasue it's the playoffs and I don't think Manning will put up his normal 30 points (even against our horrible pass defense) It will be a tight game.

It's definitely not the best offense he's had. It is the best defense he's had. And this isn't the best defense you guys have had.

If this and if that...bottom line is Manning has never had a #2 ranked defense in his career...Regardless of his previous performances in the playoffs against the GAYtriots or any other team...This is the best overall team he has been a part of...stats don't lie...

That's debatable. The 2007 Colts were ranked 1st defensively in points, 3rd in yards and 2nd in takeaways/giveaways in a year where their division wielded 3 playoff teams (and the 4th team went 8-8). They proceeded to lose their first playoff game at home.
