Trindon Holliday: The Perfect Player
http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/page/...hefter-10-spot
A perfect player: No team will go unbeaten this season, but one player is trying to pull off his own 1972 Dolphins-like feat. Broncos return man Trindon Holliday is -- impressively, amazingly -- 13-0 this season. Holliday won his first five games of the season with the Texans before they waived him. The Broncos claimed him, and they have won eight straight since then. As good as Adrian Peterson has been, as impressive as Luck has been, as dominant as Aldon Smith has been, nobody is as hot as Holliday. He has gone 13 straight weeks without a loss. And how about this: Last season, Holliday was on the Texans roster for only one game, and of course Houston won. So in his two seasons in the NFL, Holliday has never lost a game. Denver's final three games are at Baltimore, then at home against Cleveland and Kansas City. Holliday is three games from one of the more unlikely perfect seasons the league has seen. Former Dolphins running back Mercury Morris doesn't have to worry about any unbeaten team moving into his neighborhood this season, but he might want to keep open an extra room for Holliday to rent. |
He must feel like a winner.

I gotta give credit to McCoy for putting Trindon in the backfield. Gives DC's something to think about. And the guy can actually produce sometime also. Has done so from the backfield.

It seems so long ago, that our first impression of Holliday (in a Broncos uniform) was a muffed punt....Hilarious!

He's tiny like a leprechaun... And just as lucky!
|
yet after a fumble or mishandling of a KICK off how many posters were ready to crap can him as a bungled pick up..
the wails are still echos in the annals of OM.. |
Dude has some issues with ball control. He's got to be one of the biggest (and smallest) risk/reward players of all time. John Fox knows this, that's why Leonard (aka guy that slept with my ex girlfriend in college(after I was done with her)) is returning punts in the red zone. I'd love to see Trindon running some short dump off routes, maybe even a screen or two.

he's no Rick Upchurch but at least he runs upfield and has some acceleration. wes welker has many punts and NO awesome returns or Touchdowns. he just catches the ball and gets 8 yards woo hoo. thats one area belicheat doesnt like to roll the dice.

I'm all for Holliday going 16-0 and winning the SB this year, as long s Denver does not cut him!!
