We got something here..............
Look I am not a glass half full kind of guy but this team looks to be gellin and getting better every week. Not to be a debby downer but the competition has been sub par as of late.
We have seen quite a few great Broncos teams come out of the gate hard and then fall apart down the home stretch............ We have seen quite a few Bronco teams with the division within their grasp fall apart and not finish what they started.............. Again I am a realist, if its wrong or questionable I will say so. I realize the competition has been weak as of late BUT........ We have been putting away the weaker teams as good teams are supposed to do. I think this team is different and we will keep our foot on San Diego's throat AND FINISH WHAT WE STARTED THIS TIME ! Am I right or just drank the kool-aid ? GO BRONCOS ! |
Not sure, but man… It's some pretty good Kool Aide. :strong:

Don't tell the Falcons or Giants our competition has been weak of late.

Pretty telling game tomorrow.
Rarely has their been a non-playoff game w/such a differential in meanings depending on the outcome. Win and we have a 4 game lead with 6 to play. (because of tie-breaker) Lose and we're only a game up with 6 to play and no tie-breaker with team in 2nd (SD). Here's hoping this Denver team comes out with a playoff mentality tomorrow and shows it's nothing like the ones that struggled down the stretch in the past 8 or so years. Go Broncos! Keep on rolling. |
This game is weird I can't forget we were down 24-0 to this team. If it wasn't for Rivers screw ups not sure we would have won that game. I respect SD more then fans here do. We have to get off to a better start this time. This game is for SD's season so I expect them to come out firing. Be ready boys.

Let's not forget, the Chargeless got 17 points off our own ****ups. |
Yes, we do have something here.
But, is what we have, better than Houston, Baltimore, New England, San Francisco, or Atlanta?? My main concerns....Houston, New England, and Atlanta. Those are the 3 best teams in the NFL right now. We are right there with them...but, interestingly enough, all 3 beat our Broncos. Can we go to NE or Houston, or maybe both....and win? Are we that good? Can we play Atlanta on a nuetral field and win? Is our defense really a top 10 defense...or just a pretender? What if Manning gets shut down...can our defense keep us in the game against one or more of these 3 teams. That's what we need to find out. But, yes we don have something here...and it's name is Peyton Manning! |

I believe we are better team now offensively than when we lost to those three teams and I also beleive our defensive ranking is being scewed because of bad teams we have played. |

B) Absolutely. Should've beaten the Falcons at their place, just ran out of time (not to mention 4 turnovers in the first qtr). |

Our defensive ranking is for the whole season to date. We have played some high powered offensives. It's silly to say our defensive rank is skewed because we have played bad offensives. Just who are these weak offenses?

Quit the what if BS............ |

Be real now............what teams have we played with a winning record as of late ? Don't do this..........keep it real. |

Until we beat the Patriots we can't go anywhere. They own us right now.

New England #1 New Orleans #4 Atlanta #6 Oakland #12 Houston #14 Pittsburg #15 Cincinnati #20 San Diego #22 Carolina #23 Still think our defensive rank ing is skewed because we have played weak offensive teams? Consider yourself owned. |

Make no mistake, we'll need to tomorrow. SD's season is on the line, they will give everything against us and bring their A game. Anything less than that level last seen against NO and we will lose - fact. |
On an any given Sunday...
I think we've played a tough first part of the schedule and did real well considering the new pieces on offense and a new DC on defense. Yes, at the mid-season point we've seemed to have jelled and we're playing well as a unit on all 3 phases. The schedule gets easier from here on out, but we need to keep the foot down because the NFL is full of surprises. This part of the schedule falls on the coaches responsibility to have the team prepared to play week in and week out. We'll be tested every week and teams are going to be ready to gunning us down, so it is and it's not as easy as it looks on paper... |
New England is really the only team I worry about. Any other team in the league I think we could beat (could, not would) at this point.

Consider yourself stupid....whats their winning percentage again ? Thats right keep talking................... This isn't a popularity contest. We all love the BrONCOS but the teams we have played lately are bad. Facts matter ! |

Sure they are playing better now but the CHiefs beat them......do you really want to keep on with this ? |
