Miller the only Bronco.

Also on PFF, Von was the only one.

That link is the perfect example of what frustrates me regarding Peter King.

At this point in his career, he HAS to recognize the difference between a 3-4 DE and a 4-3 DE. He makes note of Cameron Wake swapping to DE from OLB, but never mentions it's due to a move to the 43.

THEN he makes the list a 3-4 and leaves Wake at end. Does he seriously not understand that his position in a 3-4 would go right back to OLB and that a 34 DE requires an entirely different body type and skill set?

McGahee as well. I was going to chime in about Demaryius not being included until I read this:

Demaryius Thomas can thank his habit of fumbling for his non-inclusion.
I'm cool with that.

Repped for correction.

I refuse to believe that anyone legitimately thinks that Matt Ryan is better than Peyton Manning. It's all cute "oh well Matt Ryan hasn't won any awards in his career, so it makes for a nice story to pretend he is now king of **** mountain" posturing.

maher_tyler 11-06-2012 02:42 PM

Giants haven't looked all that great since beating SF. I think Atlanta is good but really haven't played anyone. I think if we played them again we would win.

He isn't but, media goes by who's hot 8-0. Whren he falters they'll tar and feather him. Just the way things go now.

There is only one team in the league I don't think we can beat (New England).

SpringStein 11-06-2012 03:35 PM

No prob - I was glad to see the conference award, I hadn't seen that.

It's so nice to have a really good team again.

Peter King is King of the Douches for what he did to Floyd.

McCoy has now played to both Tebow and PM's strengths. He was able to design an offense that Tebow could run and then after signing PM totally overhauled the O to suit PM.

I for one think he is totally underrated and he is the sharpest OC we have had since Kubes left.

I hope he sticks around for a couple years.

Tombstone RJ 11-06-2012 06:58 PM

peter king sucks, I can't stand him. His football takes are meaningless and he's a definite NE homer.

BroncoBuff 11-06-2012 08:47 PM

I have a mid-season projection, NFL Executive of the Year:

http://img59.imageshack.us/img59/9046/elway.jpg

. . . JOHN ELWAY
  • Elway's calm, no-drama management style was fresh air for a shell-shocked team that just hit rock-bottom
  • A franchise-record 12 losses the year before he took over, now on the brink of 2 Division Titles in 2 years
  • Elway's first-ever draft pick was named NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year
  • His two rookie classes have produced 5 starters and 13 regulars, including NINE on the defensive 2-deep depth chart
  • Out-maneuvered a dozen veteran GMs to acquire FA-of-the-Decade Peyton Manning. Nothing genius about the signing, but Manning cited John and his respect for the game at the top of his list of reasons why he choose Denver.
  • Lured NFL Asst Coach of the Year candidate Jack Del Rio to become team's 7th D-Coordinator in 7 years. Next to Manning, Del Rio might be the most important move of the off-season. If John can keep him in place next year, he might earn back-to-back Awards.

TheChamp24 11-07-2012 06:15 AM

At this point I gotta say Doug Martin is the offensive ROY, not Luck or Griffin. Dude has been on fire the past few weeks and is killing it.
