Katrina 2.0 great ladies and gentlemen your inept government at work lets give them a hand and vote them out next tuesday and if Romney cant cut it vote party no 3 im very tired of do nothing but collect a check government. |
|
still looks like Katrina 2.0 aftermath to me liberals get all mad at bush for deplorable conditions why aint any of you jumping on Obama.
why isnt anyone jumping all over the local governments they had prior warning this storm was coming. i await a reasonable reply |

Not to be a dick......but it sort of sounds like people didn't prepare that well even though they had a lot of warning. New Yorkers and NJ types are tough, but also stubborn. I bet on the west coast if someone said huge earthquake, next sat or sun, no one would be left in the city lol. I could see if it was a little storm that got huge overnight, but hell they talked about it for a week. go buy a ton of canned food and get water. If your home close to sea get the hell out. Maybe sure you have 100 gallons or more for your generator before storm, not day after.
My earthquake readiness could be better, needs to be better, but at least i have 1 week or water and MRE. Actually more then that, probably a weeks worth for 3-4 people. Also I have a great generator that run on propane or gas in my shed out back. That way you have propane for electricty. When power went out for 36 hours one time I was golden with my generator. Can't count on the govt. Can't expect GWB or Obama to make an order and cure the ills of millions of people. It's called personal responsibilty. Everyone should think about what can happen in your area, and then prepare more for it. I know i am going to. More water, more food, and for sure more ammo. I heard its getting bad in areas of NY. The stories will get bad here in a few days. |
All the President can really do is send money after the fact. It really should be up to local leaders to ready their consituants to not be without food, water, or fail to evacuate. If you were advised to leave and don't, you are sort of an iconoclast and those people will always be stubborn.

my mother used to have me fill old laundry detergent jugs with water to wash dishes if the power ever went out.
but whats disturbing is this isnt a place that normally gets hit by storms when Katrina hit bush got alot of flak from the media. when this storm hit why didnt Obama catch hell from the aftermath . its almost seems like the national media is biased of course that cant be true. it has to be some odd coincidence that the media gave bush hell but ignores Obama and his slip ups. over and over a lil fairness would be nice |
also KATRINA 2.0 thats my story and im sticking to it.
from a Governor or mayor?? that wanted to have a marathon in the middle of this mess to a president who shows up makes flowery speeches then takes off. while people starve because ,they didnt think this disaster would happen to them or probably thinking if they left looters would clean them out. there was plenty of warning this storm was going to hit them hard. like i think a week before. seems like you people don't like the truth . none the less DEAL WITH IT. LIVE WITH IT governments cant swoop in last minute and help you, but yet you believe the LIES they feed you and when someone like me points it out you get all emotional and angry at people like me for pointing it out |

Otherwise I can sit here and say "I heard Romney liked to suck dick for coke." Hahaha now you have to prove it's NOT true. No, that's not how it works, and Mecklomaniac is a dumbass. |

then again i havent been on this side of the OM much, so i dont know what he might of said before. you two carry on your online fight sorry to butt in none of my business |

Outside help from power companies is determined long before storms even appear. These are based on existing trade agreements because different areas work under different regulations. When a storm hits, people don't randomly just say, "hey I'm going to go to New York and help out"...if they do, they get turned away. |
I remember the "stories" that came out about Katrina and that 99% of them ended up not true, but of course, the liberals didn't really spend much time trying to find the truth then since they fit their 40 year old narrative at the time.

but if its not, would you care to prove just how the burden of proof should be on you to prove that the burden of proof should be on the claimant ? ROFL! |
