Manning tops Sando's MVP Watch
You knew it was inevitable: http://espn.go.com/blog/nfcwest/post...s-mvp-watch-59.
We all knew Manning was back after the first game, but I agree that the win Monday night felt different. |
I'd say he's near enough the frontrunner now if not already. Most Valuable after all and he's kept us in there in all the games, whether won or lost.
Not only that but Ryan is losing ground to him as the only man who could be ahead. Rodgers has a better rating (by.4) and 2 more TDs but a 6TD outing will tend to spike that. Manning's stats are better than Ryan's (better rating, same TDs, less picks) and he's been consistently awesome throughout so far. Ryan's team is 6-0 but losing their swagger a little, lets see what happens as the season goes on. Statistically, Peyton Manning has been the best QB in the league so far. Fact. |

5 time MVP would be nice but Ryan with the 6-0 falcons would win right now imo

They've had a fairly easy schedule, they don't really dominate in any way. They aren't top 10 in any major team statistical category. Mike Nolan's defense will not last the whole season. 4 of their wins are by less than 1 possession. This isn't to say they aren't a good team, but they aren't as impressive as the 6-0 start indicates and they haven't been winning in a dominating fashion by any stretch. |
