Okay, This Is Non-Partisan Q Bout Libya

I've been on this site for 10 years or whatever, never got aboard the Bush knew about 911 where 3000 souls were murdered. He probably should've looked into the info more, cuz that was pretty big deal. But... No doubt tho, he did not want that happen and was devastated. No doubt.

Anyway, Josh Marshall asked this at TPM... curious, especially from the Rights... Honest answer?

"Do people think a security request from a US consulate ends up on the President’s desk? The Vice President’s? Assuming the reporters flogging this know this but are choosing to ignore this obvious point?"

Obama said the buck stops with him. Yes or no?

Why wasn't the initiative taken to give them extra security (Americans not local Libyans) without waiting for them to ask first? It seems pretty obvious to me the initiative should be taken to send extra security personnel to locations that are hot. Bungling idiocy got these men killed.

According to this source, the Libyan staff got no response when they requested more security. This is inexcusable.

Another controversial thing about Libya was how shortly after the war, the rebels were targeting and slaughtering sub-saharan black Africans left and right because of Ghadafi's favoriting them as bodyguards and mercenaries, yet nobody said dick about it. Would the same have happened if Bush were president? I don't think so.

Yeah.. That's the thing, I'm 50% in agreement w you. Obviously i think that request didn't make it to the POTUS or VP desk, nor should it... But they did request increased security and people died... At the end I guess it's not acceptable and the buck does stop the President.

It isn't obama's job but the buck does stop at him. I think making it seem like it was caused by a video was shady.

The buck stops with Obama when his admin. goes around various networks and claim a video caused all the problems. If they really didn't know like they are trying to claim now, then that should have been the report. But instead, you have people from that admin. expressing with certainty it was just a random act in response to a 2 month old, clip from a video and only AFTER it is plain obvious it was a planned attack, do they try to cover and state they didn't know. Either trying to spin the tale that terrorism isn't a problem anymore or gross incompetence, or both. In any event, it makes this admin. look like amateurs who don't know what is going on or what to do.

Everything that happens while Obama is president, and I mean everything, is Obama's fault.

Everything that took place during Bush's eight years in the White House was the fault of the Democrats.

OP just hasn't learned the code.
