Bet ya wish ya had DJ playing now.
|
Wish we had someone better than Mays. Still not missing DJs tackles 5-10 yards up the field. Woodyard, Brooking, and the rest of the committee are doing that just fine
|
Haha....nice. Go Req...and go DJ! :)

It's not our fault he drives drunk and sends his dog's urine to the NFL.

Lonestar being trolled hard.
Good stuff. |
So Req and SoCal, please explain to us why he isnt playing right now? Contract dispute? Injuried?
This is one of those times when it is best to shut the **** up and realize "your boy" is not playing because of his own stupid fault. If he was so much better than Mays or anyone else, he would have made sure to be the #1 guy and not be a **** up. |

Mays > DJ

why did the Broncos resign Mays for 3 more years at $12 million?

Denver's defense would be better with him on the field. |
Do I wish DJ was on the field?
Yes But that would require him to not act like a retard Joe Mays has a better chance of covering a tight end than that happening |

But I'm enjoying seeing lonestar get trolled nonetheless. |
Never understood how a douchebag like DJ is still applauded after acting like a douche bag?
DJ is a much bigger embarrassment to the Broncos than Joe Mays is even if he misses tackles. Not to mention it's nobody's fault but DJ's that he is suspended. I hope the Broncos revamp the entire LB corps save for Miller and Woodyard next season. |
If you watch any of the games last year you'll see how valuable DJ is to the team. He might not be the playmaker we'd all like but he does tackle well, he is fast and he can cover TEs very well. If he comes in ready to go he could be a valuable addition the remainder of the season and the playoff push. The big question is, will he be ready to go?

90 tackles(70 solo), 5 sacks, 3 FF, 0 INT DJ had he not missed 3 games stats 111 tackles(87 solo), 6 sacks, 3 FF, 0 INT DJ through 5 games 2011 30 tackles(22 solo), 2 sacks, 1 FF, 0 INT ---——---------------------------------------------------------- WW through 5 games 37 tackles(25 solo), 2 sacks, 0 FF, 1 INT WW averaged out for season 119 tackles(75 solo), 6 sacks, 0 FF, 3 INT Brooking through 5 games 17 tackles(9 solo), 0 sacks, 1 FF, 0 INT Brooking averaged out for season 55 tackles(28 solo), 0 sacks, 3 FF, 0 INT Through the first 5 games of DJ's season last year and the 2 guys who have taken his position the first 5 games this year, DJ has been eclipsed. Not only that but his replacements are on pace to better his season total. I couldn't find the tackles for loss stat. (Working on my phone) So I will have to take your word for it. Also I don't expect WW to get 2 more INTs since our LB corps averages maybe 1 a year, but causing a couple FF wouldn't surprise me. They may not have his natural ability but his athletic prowess over his replacements isn't so great that he is missed or that his douchebaggery should be overlooked |

2012: 9th overall (Luke Kuechly) 2011: 67th overall (Nate Irving) 2010: 8th overall (Rolando McClain) 2009: 15th overall (Brian Cushing) 2008: 10th overall (Jerod Mayo) 2007: 11th overall (Patrick Willis) 2006: 5th overall (AJ Hawk) 2005: 17th overall (David Pollack) 2004: 12th overall (Jonathan Vilma) 2003: 29th overall (Nick Barnett) 2002: 23rd overall (Napoleon Harris) 2001: 11th overall (Dan Morgan) 2000: 9th overall (Brian Urlacher) 1999: 28th overall (Andy Katzenmoyer) I'd say that Manti Te'o's college career could probably be favorably compared with some of the better linebackers on the list -- but where he ends up being drafted really all depends on how he tests at the combine. Realistically, we're probably going to need to be in slots 8-10 to draft him. If we end up making the playoffs, that means it would probably cost us a 1st and a 2nd round choice to move up and take him. Is it worth it? Given the need and the fit, I would say yes. |
I wish DJ was back on the field yes.
I wish even more that he had never acted like a douche and gotten another DUI, suspension etc etc in the first place. |
