Released by Houston. Any interest in bringing him in as a PR/KR?

He was tearing it up in preseason FWIW.

Why did they release him? Didn't he have two scores on PR this year?

He averaged 50th in the league in kickoff return average despite ranking 13th in number of kickoff returns. Holliday had 16 punt returns, ranked second in the NFL behind Patrick Peterson, but only a 9.2 average on those returns. Peterson averaged 9.8 yards per return.

I saw a tweet they're making Keshawn Martin their PR/KR. Maybe didn't want to carry someone who was just a returner.

Jim Leonhard is only averaging a little less than 7 yards per punt return. Why not give this dude a shot?

we need someone not slow back there returning punts.

Kind of a moot point if the defense can't stop anyone on 3rd down.

Well they arent going to release Leonard to make room, so who do they let go to bring in Holliday?

I certainly want a better PR, but leonard has depth value in the secondary and Holiday doesn't do anything else.

I think they are going with the returners we have and hope PM can make up for bad field position.

After all it is not like we have Timmy as our QB and we need to get him close enough for a drive that ends in a Prater 60 yard FG.

Leonhard has 12 returns .....averages 6.8 per return with a longest of 16... 0 fumbles.

IMO, He needs to play another position besides PR/KR to be on the team or be Devin Hester like

The Broncos should just not even have a punt returner. No chance of a fumble if nobody tries to catch it. Just to be on the safe side.

Well he plays WR so we could always get crazy and cut Willis or Caldwell!! They cut Holliday to pick up MLB Barrett Ruud. Too bad Denver loves Mays so damn much. Ruud could have helped us.
