I am a youth umpire under Babe ruth baseball and softball I have tons of games coming up. i got 5 for this weekend starting thru-fri-sat-sat-sun day of mon than another full week i said sat twice for two games.

Anyone question about rules i do my best to answer them. Its fastpitch softball.

In your league -- does the count for strikes and balls start at zero for each?

Or is their already a ball / strike given?

Do you check out hot girls when they come up to bat?

When I umped, I always used to be like, "Oh dat ass!"

these kids i do are 12 and up and i be doing a 10u champion game coming next month and no i don't i am umpire first and second the only ladies i am looking for are girls that are in the stands (not many tell you the truth)

Well you should just go out and ask one out. If they do not have a ring on their finger, go get 'em tiger.

I love these answers from regular people. I had a tough game the other day for 10u game.

coach didn't like one of my calls and had hard time explain the rule a tad so they don't want me to come back good enough for me.

Btw the other game a grandmother was kick out :rofl:

my uic said he let it cool down and put me in some other places.

YES THEY DO! When you can't even spell 'Umpire", you might have issues behind the plate. I play on a mens softball league and our 1 guy does a great job behind the plate (big deal in slow pitch) and gets out to the bases in a hurry.

As for them being human, no they are not.
