Robin Williams dies

Just heard on KOA radio that actor Robin Williams has died.

KOA says it was a suicide. RIP

I remember during the Mork and Mindy days Robin Williams coming out dressed as a member of the Pony Express at a Bronco home game as part of an episode being filmed.

Suicide by asphyxiation... Craziness.

Rip.

The link I posted reads:

"The cause of death is believed to be suicide via asphyxiation, according to the coronerís office in Tiburon, Calif. He was found in his home."

Mogulseeker 08-11-2014 05:13 PM

Asphyxiation? So they're saying he hung himself?

randerson1184 08-11-2014 05:16 PM

Terrible news. I've always been really fond of him from a young age. His stand-up material was really off the wall, but I still liked it. Dude was a super talented actor. RIP.

BroncosSR 08-11-2014 05:16 PM

So sad...

Miss I. 08-11-2014 05:17 PM

This is so shockingly sad. Condolences to the family. And may he rest in peace in the way evidently he couldn't in life. So very very sad.

Not necessarily. Could of been CO2 poisoning, drowning, plastic bag, helium, etc.

HILife 08-11-2014 05:25 PM

Just heard. That's crazy. R.I.P.

Drunk Monkey 08-11-2014 05:28 PM

RIP, the guy had talent. So many good roles.

Taco John 08-11-2014 05:28 PM

Pretty heavy growing up and seeing the people who you grew up loving, and watching grow up themselves, die. Robin Williams is one of those guys who managed to find his way into everybody's heart. What a shock that he's gone.

broncocalijohn 08-11-2014 05:29 PM

So many comedians commit suicide. Seems ironic, huh?

24champ 08-11-2014 05:31 PM

Wow.

RIP

That's a bummer.

Rohirrim 08-11-2014 05:43 PM

Damn! That's a shock. Dude had a lot of issues that he'd fought his whole life. I guess he finally lost. Really a shame. One of the funniest people who ever lived.

Broncos_OTM 08-11-2014 05:46 PM

That's a trip, I was just watching mork and Mindy sat. I hear it may have been suicidem.. RIP

Sarah Silverman talks about this in her book. She was suicidal at one time. It's the same worldview that leads to depression that also allows people to analyze things comedically.

There are a lot of bad standup comics, but the good ones (like Robin) are all really smart people that tend to see the world as it is.

TonyR 08-11-2014 06:01 PM

Autoerotic asphyxiation, perhaps?
