Ive never heard of Lacuna COil. i dont like real hard rock, like i said i listen to hip hop mainly, but i like all kidns of music. can u compare them to a band out there?

well, thats kind of where i was heading. see, LC is a lot like evanescence only a bit more rock into it. but, if you heard Christinas voice in LC you would just melt man. if you have any kind of file transfer software then check out these tracks:

swamped
heavens a lie
purify.

these are some good tunes. LC isnt a real heavy band but they are more rock oriented than Evanescence. see what you think. 8')

BizzyBone7 02-21-2004 02:22 PM

they were pretty good...i liked that purify one. they both have good voices but the LC one sounded kinda like more of an 80s singer. thats good tho cuz i like 80s music. like i said they both have amazing voices

Man, that's a dreadful CD...the ultra-cheesy video must be selling that thing.

Whatever melts your butter though...you'd probably dig Uriah Heep if you like that Darkness stuff Prez...I'm serious.

Anyways, the last CD's I had in the player were Lou Reed's "New York", King Crimson's "Red" and "Pure Mania" by The Vibrators.

FADERPROOF 03-09-2004 11:49 AM

Been listening to a mix of CKY stuff as well, "96 quite bitter beings" has to be one of the catchiest songs ever.

You know, it's saying something when a jazz CD can conjure more frightening power than any death metal I've ever heard..."b****es Brew" is one of the most intense and polarizing recordings I know of...it really destroys anything it comes up against...I know a lot of people hate that record for one reason or another but I've always dug it...then again, I like free jazz and was a huge no wave fan as well and I've never ran into another soul that likes any of that stuff (which if you're not into it, it can clear a room of people in record time Ha!).
