Imagine if the Jets had a good QB. They literally live off their D, and if that goes down they need over the top quality play on O.

Sanchez needs to stop boning 17 year olds and work on his game.

How was that austin td steal not reviewed extensively! Mind blowing.

It was. They've been saying all day on pretty much every broadcast that every scoring play is being reviewed.

Simultaneous possession goes to the offensive player.

I know that, how was that not extensively reviewed. To me Cro had possession as he was down.

They've been stopping the game for EXTENSIVE reviews, but not on that, mindblowing'

Anyone think Cam Newton is worth picking up in FF (I have Bradford and Orton) or was that just the Cards pass D sucking?

It was done with the same diligence as everything else, it was just a far easier call. No need for multiple angles to determine a spot. Simultaneous possession goes to the offense. You can see it live, you can really see it in slow mo. Therefore touchdown, no need to beat a dead horse.

Well the Cards D forced Orton to 19/41 and 3 picks last year.

Sorry, had to do it. :afro:

Yet for some reason Broncos fans like to complain that Orton doesn't do things like that.

Hold the ball like a loaf of bread while trying to punch it in?

Yeah... don't believe I've seen that complaint.

Instead of playing it safe, they want him to run around like a madman and try to 'extend' the play because of what Tebow does.

If he plays it safe, taking a sack when necessary, he's doing a 'phantom sack'. However, I've seen Romo do a 'duck and cover' at least three times tonight in the pocket, going down before he's touched yet I don't hear anyone here complaining that he needs to be benched.

He's been gimpy since mid way through the first quarter. Which is why you would question having him in the game at that point in the first place.

lol at Romo. He puts up solid numbers throughout the game, but 4th quarter fumbles the ball away inside the 5 being an idiot running the ball up the middle on a scramble and then throws a terrible pick late. Yes, Bryant is gimpy, but even a healthy Bryant, is he going to teleport in front of Revis to catch the ball?

I think Romo was expecting him to stop at the 1st down stick, but Dez kept going.

Anyway, Cowboys lose. Would prefer they won since the Jets are an AFC Team and i'm rootting for all AFC teams to lose

The OAK vs DEN game is even more important now cuz the other AFCW teams failed in Game 1. So far:

1. Looks like Sandy Eggo failed to improve the special teams play that was their Achilles Heel last season. They gave up a 103-yard TD return & then lost kicker Nate Kaeding for the year. (Also lost DE Castillo for the year).

2. Chiefs looked like rancid diarrhea against a miserable Bills team (4-12 last year).

3. Jets don't look like the powerful juggernaut of preseason prediction against the freakin' Cowgirls. The 6-win Cowgirls. And they have to travel play both of us.

Whoever wins the Monday Night matchup gets a leg up in momentum cuz a victory (without major injuries) will be the only positive in the division in Week 1.

SD needs to lose a couple more players for the season for the raiders/broncos to catch up. Chiefs? Well, they are the Chiefs. Back to the bottom.
