BUF (http://www.nfl.com/teams/profile?team=BUF) @ KC (http://www.nfl.com/teams/profile?team=KC) W :Gonna give KC a W here but expect this to be a close game.
KC (http://www.nfl.com/teams/profile?team=KC) @ DET (http://www.nfl.com/teams/profile?team=DET) L: Detroit is going to be vastly improved this year if they can keep Stafford healthy. I see a Detroit win.
KC (http://www.nfl.com/teams/profile?team=KC) @ SD (http://www.nfl.com/teams/profile?team=SD) L: Just flat out over-matched here.
MIN (http://www.nfl.com/teams/profile?team=MIN) @ KC (http://www.nfl.com/teams/profile?team=KC) L: Probably a close game but I don't see the Vikings losing this one.
KC (http://www.nfl.com/teams/profile?team=KC) @ IND (http://www.nfl.com/teams/profile?team=IND) L: See the SD game above.
BYE
KC (http://www.nfl.com/teams/profile?team=KC) @ OAK (http://www.nfl.com/teams/profile?team=OAK) L: Expect Oakland to squeak out a W here.
SD (http://www.nfl.com/teams/profile?team=SD) @ KC (http://www.nfl.com/teams/profile?team=KC) L: Probably closer game than the game @ SD but a L regardless for KFC
MIA (http://www.nfl.com/teams/profile?team=MIA) @ KC (http://www.nfl.com/teams/profile?team=KC) W: Close game that KFC pulls out to get win #2 on the year
DEN (http://www.nfl.com/teams/profile?team=DEN) @ KC (http://www.nfl.com/teams/profile?team=KC) W: This could go either way.....depends on who is QB for Denver when we get to this game. But I give a W to KFC due to Denver's troubles playing in KC.
KC (http://www.nfl.com/teams/profile?team=KC) @ NE (http://www.nfl.com/teams/profile?team=NE) L: Overmatched again. Would love to see Haley shake his finger at Bellichick for spankin KC's arse! lol
PIT (http://www.nfl.com/teams/profile?team=PIT) @ KC (http://www.nfl.com/teams/profile?team=KC) L: Pitt's D will eat up Cassel & Co.
KC (http://www.nfl.com/teams/profile?team=KC) @ CHI (http://www.nfl.com/teams/profile?team=CHI) L: Da Bears take this one.
KC (http://www.nfl.com/teams/profile?team=KC) @ NYJ (http://www.nfl.com/teams/profile?team=NYJ) L: Jets in a cakewalk!
GB (http://www.nfl.com/teams/profile?team=GB) @ KC (http://www.nfl.com/teams/profile?team=KC) L: Overmatched again!
OAK (http://www.nfl.com/teams/profile?team=OAK) @ KC (http://www.nfl.com/teams/profile?team=KC) W: Expect a close one but KFC gets a W here.
KC (http://www.nfl.com/teams/profile?team=KC) @ DEN (http://www.nfl.com/teams/profile?team=DEN) L: Denver gets a W to close out the season.

The Chiefs are going to dump Cassel this offseason, draft a young QB and he'll probably instantly be a better player than Tim Tebow.

You know what the difference is between you and us?

You all saw Orton as a guy who was taking your team somewhere. Some of you literally thought you were winning playoff games with him. I told you he was taking your team nowhere, and I was right.

Now, I know that about Orton, and so do the Chiefs. He's a stopgap. No one has any delusions about this in our fanbase or our front office.

But you guys were delusional over Orton, and now you've got it even worse for a 45 percent passer.

You guys are completely hopeless right now.

We'll probably sweep you next year. And the hilarious part is, we'll do it WITH Orton.

And Tebow will still be a 45 percent passer.

So go ahead and yuk it up now. You don't win games scoring 17 every week in this league, no matter how much John Fox loves it.

The Chiefs are building a dynamic passing offense and you guys are spinning your wheels with option bull****.

It might win you a few meaningless games, but in the long run, it's taking your franchise straight to hell. Or rather, leaving your franchise IN hell, because you're going on six straight years without a playoff appearance.

There's no way I'd trade places with you guys right now. Tim Tebow and John Fox. Ugh!

So, 5-1 is a joke....got it.

He's actually not a "terrible" passer, but the offensive staff hasn't put him in a ton of good passing situations. He's a rhythm QB that doesnt pass enough to get into rhythm. That said, when they need to pass (2 minute drills, end of games), he's actually performed quite well. He needs to clean up his footwork and he does toss some ugly balls, but he also really takes care of the ball and hasn't put our defense in bad situations. Our defense has improved as they've gotten used to the scheme, but this also has to do with the offense not putting them in **** situations and Colquitt doing an awesome job pinning them.

His mere presense has completely negated pass rushes and completely opened up the running game.

Just because its not the prettiest thing in the world, doesn't mean its bad. Sure, he can improve, but your jealosy here is really shining through.

Ugh!

Tha guy your baggin on would have us in first place in this division if he had been started at the beginning of the year.

Keep prayin his passing doesn't improve...........know how worried you red/white clowns are deep down. !

What part of:

Dwayne Bowe
Jonathan Baldwin
Steve Breaston
Tony Moeaki
Jamaal Charles

Do you not understand?

That's a freaking lethal arsenal in the passing game. Whatever QB we draft is going to have a stacked array of weapons to exploit defenses with.

I know, it's not as scary as the read option but, you know, this is how the modern NFL works, guys. Get used to it.

Dwayne Bowe is a "whack-a-mole".
You should be hopeful that Charles will be 80% of what he was.
Breaston is a slot or a backup.

You will have a new coach soon and will most likely start over anyway.

He's on pace for over 60 catches to be fair, it's hardly an absurd prediction.

I do love Bob's confidence about how the Chiefs are building a dominant passing game, they just need to find a QB.

Like saying "We're building a dominant pass rush, all we need now is some pass rushers!!"

Dude has had a great year.

If Bowe is a whack a mole he's a Pro Bowl whack a mole.

Not unless a ton of guys ahead of his break their legs or prefer to stay home with their kids than play in a meaningless game.

Bowe's stats right now:

Receiving
Rec Yds ▾ Y/R TD Lng R/G Y/G
55 819 14.9 4 52 5 74.5

So if he continues catching 5 balls per game (I am sure there are at least one drop where he just doesn't try, and a couple others that hit his hands) he will have 25 more catches this season.

At 14.9 yards per reception that gives him a total of 372.5 catches (projected).

If you add the 372.5 to his current 819 yards total you get a respectable: 1191.5 yards on 80 catches and a few total embarraaass drops on prime time.

That would vault him over week 11 Wes Welker who right now at this very minute has 1143 yards on the season with 5 more games to play.

Right now with out the projected stats your boy Bowe is 13th on the list of WR's.

It doesn't get any better for Bowe because the top 6 players all have at least 100 more yards then him, avg 10 more yards per game than Bowe and if everyone of the top 6 WR's in the AFC above Bowe project out the same Bowe will have to hope that the Pro Bowl takes 5-6 WR's this year or a couple of the guys way ahead of him turn down the option to play in the game.

So he is not really a lock for a Pro Bowl, especially if Palcow plays another couple of games or Orton spends more time being pummeled into the ground than chucking it deep to Bowe or Breston.

In conclusion, Welker, Smith, Wallace, Marshall, Jackson, and even a TE in Gronkowski have had great years, Bowe is an also ran who is going to be known for giving up a play late in game so he doesn't get hurt.

You act like Elway and Fox had better options then Tebow. We have Orton and Quinn who both suck and couldnt go 5-1 with this team. Chiefs should have taken notes that if Orton isnt good enough for the broncos, why would he be good enough for the chiefs?

I syand corrected...KC was a top 10 passing O until Herm took over.

Regardless, who will be the QB in this dominant passing game? Cassel? Orton? Palko? Stanzi? No, I think KC's 2012 QB isn't on their roster, which means they will be looking @ McNabb, Flynn, Tavarus Jackson, etc. Or, draft one of the rookies highly. Of course, if they do that, they won't really get into the swing of things intil 2013. By then, Tebow will have had 4 years in the league. If he could improve his accuracy by just a little bit, this offense will be nearly unstoppable.

Also, your recievers aren't that good.

Three catches of 20+ yards and 93 yards in the first half alone was pretty bad on Champ.

your right, champ did have a bad day. Good players are allowed bad days, yes even Michael Jordan had off days. But Champ stepped up huge the next game in the playoffs. Thats how champions respond in playoff situations.

I know its hard too see chiefs players step up in playoff situations, considering Tony Gonzales, a chiefs legend, still doesnt have a playoff win.

It happens when you are one on one against a good receiver and the opposing QB delivers some nicely placed balls, even if you are one of the best corners of all-time. Champ makes teams' #1 receivers disappear nearly every game, so yeah I don't think any Broncos fans are going to stress too much over a few plays where he was just barely beaten.

This is true. As much as you guys bag on Orton, he made some pretty good throws.

Sometimes there's nothing you can do as a DB. Just accept that the QB made a pinpoint perfect throw and tip your hat to him.
