There's some good stuff on this. I like SoCal's comments about "conservative formations" which is one thing that is true. It has been shown Fox is balanced and not "run heavy" as his reputation suggests, but his formations are definitely more run heavy. I am still curious how things will look when the regular season starts and they start game planning.

Actually, I was exhausted. I rode a century (100 miles) on my bike for the first time on Sunday, and am in recovery from that now.

WTF is wrong with you?

What in gods name would possess you to do that?

At about mile 70, I asked myself the same thing, and wondered why I couldn't wait to do it again...

Cycling is part of my long term fitness strategy. Endurance rides are the challenges I'm taking to keep me motivated.

Fair enough.

Have you considered just eating better here and there so you don't have to torture yourself :P

I can.

Escaping alien invasion and the roads were too log jammed full of destroyed or out of gas vehicles to drive down, so you are left with a bicycle.

Isn't that fitness stuff supposed to be almost physically addicting?

Something with getting addicted to the muscle cells tearing or some weirdness..

Yeah, I worked with a woman that used to bike 20-30 miles every single day. She had a computerized rider in her attic. She was 48 years old, and had the body of a 24 year old.

Milf-tastic.

I never understood why people run marathons. After all, the first guy who did it died. I keep in good shape, work out all the time, but running 26 miles seems like absolute torture.

I did 125 (plenty of uphill) on my ****ty 70s Ross two weeks ago after three hours sleep (Manhattan to Montauk). I know how you're feeling.

Not really into the long distance stuff / marathons since it cannibalises muscle but it was a nice accomplishment.

Montauk, eh?

I love the "stories" about that place - but won't Macgruder the thread. :)

Franklin needs to work on pass pro. Especially with speed rushers.
Where oh where will be able to get him his type of practice? Oh wait

90 yards at halftime with 30 coming on penalty and a fake 4th down punt from their 28. Buf is bad very bad

Is DJ a $5MM a year LBer? I'd rather start Woodyard and spend that money somewhere else like a CB opposite CHamp would be nice. For sure next year I'd like to have that $5MM to play with
Plus his DUI is still hanging out there.

Woodyard started the BUF game due to BUF 3 WR sets

Would not be suprsied to see someone lay Moore out. There is an unwritten rule that you don't lay ppl out in preseason. At least from a vet viewpoint

All you have to do is bike 120 miles every day for 3 weeks including some really nasty mountains and you can be pro :)

Talk about "butthurt"...that's some serious punishment.

33 Miles on a mountain trail is the most I have done.

Coming down the mountain was unbelievable.

The most I've biked as an adult was probably a good 10 minutes before realizing I don't love penis.

I did the MS150 two years ago. After the first day, I was exhausted and questioning whether there was a god. After day two, I knew there was none.

Girlfriend at the time talked me into that. First time/last time.

We're talking "bicycling" the sport, not "biking" the rest stop activity. 10 minutes though.. ouch.

Coming down a mountain on a good trail is quite a blast.

Climbing some rocky swtichbacks is rough, but the downhill portion makes it all worth it.

Finally got enough time to sit down and listen and thought you guys did a great job again.

Taco you DID seem to regress on how nervous you sounded almost back to episode 1.

SoCal brought a lot to the table but I thought he seemed uncomfortable. Looking forward to working through that.

You sound like my son after he hiked up Mt. St. Helens... the first day after he got home, he complained that he was tired and sore, but the day after that he said he wanted to find another mountain to climb. LOL
