After a few days of discussing options, the Broncos will take the expected course of action with defensive lineman Ty Warren.

The expensive free agent pickup will undergo surgery on his torn triceps and miss 3-6 months. There was some hope Warren could rehab the injury without surgery.

Sorry if it's a repost-Man, that's terrible.
Everybody loses on this one.
Let's hope it's 3 moths, a month rehab, and hopefully get him back towards the end of the season.
I know, it's far-fetched...

Have we tried Jelly Dalton, Sam Adams, or Cortez Kennedy yet?

It just figures. Probably the weakest position on the team and we lose the best one, after 3 days of practice.

Ummm, that would take us to Week 16 if he had surgery today. They're not going to have him eat up a roster spot in the unlikely event he recovers fast enough to play in the last two games of the year.

ar least the young guys up front will get a true shot of showing whether they belong in the nfl or not. it isn't like we are even a playoff contender at all. warren or not.

This is why spending big money on DL can bite you since DL, next to RB's, get hurt the most.

The Redskins announced Friday that second-round pick Jarvis Jenkins would start their second preseason game over Adam Carriker.

Carriker was one of the Skins' few defenders to hold his own last season, but Jenkins has looked beastly in camp. The rookie will start at left end, across from Stephen Bowen. Washington's front seven will be much improved this year.

That's like... what? $1.3+ million per day he was on the field? Ha!

Any more injuries, and someone in the front office will be contacting William Perry! ugh!~

And if there are more injuries after that, they'll look into signing Commodore Perry and Steven Perry. Ha!

True to a point. It just better to sign a younger player that didnt previously miss most of last season due to injury and get waived from his club due to physical. As much as I love our draft and new football philosophy, they truly ****ed up when Bowlens bitchass didnt ante up for quality young DT's.

Is there some type of documentation of this, or did you just make that up?

At this point, I'll be pleased if our DTs don't play like Katy Perry.

Don't know if anyone has researched that, but watching the NFL for over 30 years, I think that is about right.
