Because the achilles didn't end his career, some new back issue he's developed just might though.
Players have come back from achilles tear before. More come back as time goes on. Right now the Giants have Andre Brown back in camp two years after tearing his achilles and Coughlin has said he's faster and more explosive than before he ever tore it.

you don't need to of the same kind of RBs especially if one of them can't stay healthy or in shape.
I also get the feeling this team loves Jeremiah Johnson and they also wanna see more out of Minor and CJ Gable

I can only go off what I see in games and JJ looked far better than Ball. I've never seen anything I really like in Ball to be honest.
