“Grilled and lean and spiced and tasty/the Meat from Ipanema goes wafting by/and when it passes by each one it passes goes, ‘Mmmmm.’” Alright, maybe that’s not exactly how Brazilian composer Tom Jobim wrote it, but, without discounting bossa nova, Brazilians certainly have a way with barbecue too — the roasted meats at their steakhouses are the stuff of legends.
Rodizio Grill brings those great flavors of Brazil to the U.S. — it’s an authentic Brazilian Steakhouse and the first of its kind in the United States. It was founded by Ivan Utrera, who brought over his family recipes from Brazil. Rodizio Grill offers over a dozen rotisserie-grilled meats, perfectly seasoned and carved tableside by Brazilian Gauchos. Authentic Brazilian appetizers, a mammoth salad bar and delicious home-made desserts made in-house daily… it's the Brazilian way!
Take advantage of today’s mouth-watering daily deal — $40 of Brazilian Steakhouse cuisine and drink for only $20 at Rodizio Grill — and nourish the gaucho inside you!

If I don't attend and we've bought and moved/settled into a new home by then I may be able to host a get together. The last house contract fell through on inspection consession negotiations. It would have been the ideal party place for a large group. We are currently scrambling to find/buy one before the new school year begins to avoid having our daughter make a change mid-semester/mid year.

Trying to get out of the current school district to allow my daughter to attend school without a concealed carry permit. She has 2 years left before we ship her off to college and the new $96million HS I actually lobbied to fund has turned into a haven for gang members and kids who just don't give a **** about education. the district, with their ultimate wisdom decided that because they had room, to open the school for anyone to enroll, which has children from all areas of Denver Metro enrolling in the "shiny new HS".

Well I guess my answer for OF1 is whether or not nut organizes a tailgate. If he wants to host it I'd just assume roll in with a sixer under my arm. If he doesn't then someone has to rock the party and I could probably do it. I'm also in the process of buying a house and several other projects but certainly plan on attending omane weekend!

Under 2 free, we bought a ticket for our little guy last year and he was 2, the year before for the turkey day game he was 22 months and they didn't even blink an eye for no ticket. If you have to have a ticket for them and they are going to sit on your lap anyway, we just buy a half price from up in the nose bleed and let him sit on our lap.

Okay maybe you guys/gals could help me out. I've posted questions on Broncos Country and BroncosForum and have yet to get a single response. I happen to be coming down for my first game for the season opener on September 12th against the Raiders. I come from Edmonton, AB, Canada and have never been to Denver, let alone a Broncos game. Maybe you could help me out with some things, like what is the best thing to do before the game. If one wants to go just take in the atmosphere of tailgating, what rules apply? Can anyone just go and walk around? What's the deal with Broncos Barn? Where is a good place to go after the game to party the night away?
I see a bunch of you are going to the Rockies game on the Sunday before and my girlfriend and I will also be there! Reading the threads, you seem to be a more personable bunch so please, please help a foreign die hard fan out!!

What Crawdad said is all good responses.
I'll add, that if you want to join in our festivities, just keep an eye out on this thread and you'll get all the information that we end up planning. Probably not super extravegant, but we'll probably meet in a certain place for tailgating, we'll probably meet up after the game and I know some are planning on meeting up on Saturday night! There is also a Rockies game on Saturday afternoon, too. After all, it is ORANGEMANE weekend and there will be a ton of us there. I can count 20 just off the top of my head!
Typically if we crash on a local's tailgate (typically invited, of course) if we can't contribute in the way of food, we'll throw in a little cash to help out! We are totally blessed to have locals that welcome us into their tailgates!
Oh, and don't miss Stampede (drum line that cruises throughout the lot prior to the game! They get everyone all fired up and ready to cheer on the team!
Look forward to seeing you there!

Much as I was hoping we could be there (especially since it's a Monday night game and against the Raiders), it doesn't look like there's any way Mr. Blue can do that many hours on the road this year. He is getting around somewhat better but we still have to be really careful that he doesn't overdo things or it's entirely possible that he might end up back at Square One (in so much pain he can barely move at all). Guess all of you will have to make extra noise to make up for our absence... and drink a beer or two at the tailgate for us.

Sorry, when I finally had the time to post this update earlier today I didn't even notice I put in in the wrong thread.:clown:
To give you guys an update. I definately want to make it, 'cause there's nothin' better than the annual Raider Hater Bash but at this point a project I'm doing is demanding my presence at all times. Very dangerous work and very critical timing. The water supply of a city depends on the completion of this portion of the contract by a set date. I will be burning the "midnight oil" for several days until I can pull away. If I end up working through Sunday or into monday, I will not be tailgating due to the limited amount of time to prep (I generally set aside full day to prep for this many folks. Shopping, stocking and prepping food and supplies takes time and effort). If this happens I most likely will just show up to watch the game. If I do finish late saturday or early sunday I'll try to do it. Everything is an unknown at this point, but based on our progress and things we encountered today, things aren't looking good.
I'll try to let you know, as soon as I know.

Well Bronco fans and Timbownites, things are looking better. If a few piping tests pass in the morning I'll be able to still get this together for monday.
I will have quite a bit of shopping and prepping to do, but it's just another challenge. I'll put together a menu and list in the AM.
It looks like there's quite a crowd (16-24) by my estimates are interested in gathering at this years "Raider Hater Bash". To make things simpler I can buy all the supplies and groceries and folks can chip in or I can post a list of supplies and go through the nightmare of trying to manage who's getting what and what to do with 57 bags of chips after the game.;D
As most of you know, I don't "indulge", so I ask that you definately BYOB (unless it's unavoidable, try to avoid bringing glass containers, cause the yellow and blue coats will bitch). I may have one cooler for folks to throw their **** in and I had one of my friends who may bring a keg. (Yuck;))
Let me know who is in and WTF time you plan on dragging your lazy asses down to the lot. There's "On time" (2-3PM I'll help set up), Later 4-5 (I'm too lazy to help set up, I'm just here for the beer) or too damn late 6-7 or after (I'm just here to wash the dishes and help put **** away)
I also ask that the Jhizz's, Dramas, OABBs, Discos, leprechauns and their type of ilk find another planet 'cause I've had a tough week and I wouldn't be opposed to "throatpunching" some asshole who desperately needs some adjustment......
Sorry 'bout that rant but at least I'm not bringing a gun to a "throatpunching";D
Anywhoo, cross the fingers that all goes well in the morning and we'll do this!

Nothing like you and 7 Raiders fans there to make the tailgate a joyous affair. Better for you to go to Lot J and buy from Brenda's Burritos from the corner and a 18 pack under your arm. 8 more people where no one knows or wants the other 7..... make that the whole 8! ROFL!

Any pics from the weekend so far? Skybox, brazilian steakhouse or the baseball game? Any group picture of 2438 and his 7 Raiders' buddies?

Another great gathering of the OM, although the game wasn't quite as great, to say the least. (but I'll leave that for the 2000 Orton sucks threads).
I'm sure most of the Campers who were before and after the game are still all comfy and cozy in their beds with some nursing some serious hangovers once they wake. I'm so tired that I could probable slep on a rock. By the time I got home and did the unavoidable "clean up" it was 2 in the AM, and I had to hit the road at 5 this morning (absolutely brutal).
Anywhoo-it was good to see all of you again and some for the first time.
STG- I think you left Sarahs' gift for Tucker in the RV. Just get some info to me and I'll get it out to you in the mail. Nice to meet your Hubby and the kiddo.
Crawdad, damn you and Cody can polish of some liquor. I remember, but don't miss those days. Glad I was able to meet Cody and see Terri again.
Sassy and Ray, I agree, the only road game which makes sense to me would be Nawlins next year. Miami doesn't appeal to me.
Sarah - get some of those pics posted, you were a busy photographer yesterday. Ryan- Time to practice throwing tailgaters.
Adam and Fanny- nice to see ya again
Cliff-glad you could make it.
Irish and Wife- a pleasant surprise. Much less Scotch, make a mo betta party.
BF and crew- sorry about the initial rant. Ultimately I couldn't give enough food away. Hell, you and the crew didn't even get any of the second course.
Miles and Trish (the regulars). Miles- see comment to Ryan.
The Canadian folks. Good to see Bronco Country knows no borders.
As always, it was fun while it lasted. Time to pass the torch.

LOL! So we are worse than last year? I highly doubt that. We hit rock bottom last year including a 59 to 14 loss at home to the same Raiders. Let me know when 20 to 23 loss is considered worse.

Never said that
I personally do not "Rate" loses...They all suck the same. But I have to add it is worse when it is the season opener, at home vs the RAIDERS.
I never said we hit bottom or not, What I said is that we are not BETTER than last year at this point... Huge difference

As most of you know, I don't "indulge", so I ask that you definately BYOB (unless it's unavoidable, try to avoid bringing glass containers, cause the yellow and blue coats will b****).
I also ask that the Jhizz's, Dramas, OABBs, Discos, leprechauns and their type of ilk find another planet 'cause I've had a tough week and I wouldn't be opposed to "throatpunching" some a-hole who desperately needs some adjustment......
Sorry 'bout that rant but at least I'm not bringing a gun to a "throatpunching";D
Anywhoo, cross the fingers that all goes well in the morning and we'll do this!

Well 1st of all that is not me in the photo or doing the "Respect" promo at the games. I still go to almost every game, still get there as soon as the lot opens, still bleed orange & blue. The only difference is now I'm not wearing a sportcoat & wig. As a full time Dad now I just decided to hang up the Disco character for a while. On Monday I had a few Mane members tell me that TG was going to "Throatpunch" me if I went to his tailgate. After reading the post I felt like I needed to respond, then I read more stories about Super Bowl XXXIII and a jump start. Many folks have asked me over the last few years why I'm not on the Mane as much. I think this explains it. Truth is I park very close to TG in the lot every game, I don't even think the guy knows my real name. I would be more than willing to talk about this "Throatpunch" thing in person as gentlemen. I have meet many of you guys on the road over the years and have had a ball, sorry that there are a few of you out there that think I'm a "Dick"

I think you need to read the thread. Only TGN was having a problem with you concerning helping someone jump their car. Concerning SB 32, we (I) was discussing the Leprechaun. Were you in Miami? I don't remember seeing you there. Unless that is you also, you got much love in this thread. Don't jump to conclusions.

I read it, and I understand what you were saying about the SB. My point was that we are on here talking about why we don't like people. Look at what I posted, I talked about a jump start. Ironically that thread was about a pic of someone else. I was at SB XXXIII in the front row and on the jumbo-tron. What was my favorite part of SB XXXIII...........the Broncos winning

Must be a case of Alzheimers.
Years ago while we were waiting in line to get into the lot I asked you to give me a jump ( you were right behind me in line ). You're response: "sorry, I don't have time".
I met you back when you and Steve first started hanging out and tailgating, I tried to talk to you after Steve introduced me to you but you were too hung up on your "Disco WOO" persona to give anyone who didn't have a camera focused on you the time of day. So, on top of being a self-absorbed Dick like the Leprechaun, you also obviously don't have the time to help a fellow Bronco fan in need.
Maybe a bit of age, having and taking care of a child and dropping the goofy outfit has changed your personality, but I can't seem to grasp how anyone will leave someone stranded, especially someone the had met/knew (or maybe your head was just as large as your wig and to associate with a commoner was below you.)
Regardless, lessons are learned and some people are better ignored.

Might not be anything to talk about, I'm just trying to take the high road here. I don't remember this and I would like to get some details from that day. I don't think it's right to not help someone out who needs a jump start, just because you don't have time. It's also not right to say that you are going to punch someone in the throat if they for some reason show up to a tailgate party that they have never attended. Then follow that up with some people are better ignored. All I'm trying to do is the right thing, that's why I didn't show up over there on Monday and ask what the problem was. Nor did I follow any of this up on the Mane with this "I will kick your ass" nonsense. Again, just trying to get to the bottom of something that I don't understand.

Allow me to refresh your memory.
We were in line waiting to get into lot C for hours. (I believe it was the season right after you and Meck "parted ways" (for lack of better terms) You were parked behind me. (between Brooklyns and the 3-way intersection) When it was about 10-15 minutes before the gate was scheduled to open I tried to start the RV and it wouldn't start. I grabbed the jumper cables from under the seat and hooked them up and walked back and asked you for a jump. Your response was "we don't have time". I went back to my RV and fiddled around with the ignition for a few minutes and when the line finally started to move you just veered around and headed in. About ten vehicles passed us just like you did and then one stopped to give us a jump. I "wasted" about 2 minutes of that DECENT persons time.
Remember now?
Over the years I have met many, if not most of the regular die-hard tailgaters in C-lot and a few other lots but I have never said another word to you even though some of your "crew" stops by every week, and they are always welcome.

Sorry, don't remember that. If that did happen, it was more than wrong. You have every right to be mad, no doubt. Why don't we meet up in Lot C and talk about it with some respect. Otherwise I could get out the wig, drink a bottle of Yukon Jack, kiss all the girls, do a TV promo or two, fall out of the stands, get banned from Giants Stadium for life, tell everyone that Space Mountain is open for business, then come over to your RV and ask what you meant by saying you were going to "Throatpunch" Disco.........................

Naw. It's not worth it. I just make notes and don't associate with fake people. It does sound like since you've (your wife) had a daughter you veered away from being an attention whore (see Leprechaun) and maybe even realize that you put your pants on one leg at a time like the rest of us.

TGN - Thank you so much for taking the extra time from your hectic work week to get things setup. I really haven't gotten to speak with you much but after meeting Lisa and Nicole last year in Phoenix, your family is what makes these tailgates so special.
Sassy and Hogan - It is always fun to hang out with you two and lets do Vegas or LA soon!
Miles and Trish - Thanks for the ride to the hotel and let me see what I can do about Miami.
Ryan and Sarah - Great seeing you both and allowing me to be your photographer on a few photos.
Adam and Fanny - Always nice to see the peope from the OC! Lets talk Miami or SD!
Crawdad and Family - Should have worn my Hard Rock shirt from Penang. Next time, I promise! Good to have met your family and give me a shout if you head out to Moorpark.
STG Girl - I never got a chance to introduce myself but you are the first person I met on this board 4 years ago and I finally got to see who you were. (I used to be Broncos Fan116)
Canadian Bronco Fan - Nice meeting you and your gf. Broncos eh?

Good to finally hear form you. Glad you made it home safe. As I may have mentioned several times to a few of you, this was my last hoorah. I'm prepping the Rv to get it ready to sell and will be selling my tix. I have given up on my partnership in the business. I will be venturing off to find something which actually involves a profit. Been taking losses for several years and the buffers are decimated. My current projects will be complete (barring problems) around the end of this month and I will, at that time consider going back into high end remodel and build outs or heading overseas to continue in my current line of work. Had some nibbles from Black and Veatch and JA Jones to work in Dubai. I may do that until this country gets' it together again. I can't keep paying to stay in business. Been a long time coming. Tailgating has been fun, and I've met many wonderful people over the years, but it takes a toll (many physical, but also time and money.
I may go to a few more games this year, but will sell most of the tickets for the season. Time for someone else to carry the torch.

Wow. I finally get home to offer up some kudos (sans blackberry) and see a lot has gone on.
Anyways, if that was indeed the end, you went out in fine style Leo. I could never fully express my appreciation for putting up the "out of towners" over the last few seasons. Although we have cash, many times we have no base, so thanks for providing that (along with the awesome food) over the years and best of luck to you and yours in whatever endevor you choose to do.
Your loss is huge, but I'm sure we'll adjust and manage........somehow. If something else does get going and you and yours are still around, here's hoping you stop by.
Cliff, Ryan, Sarah, Adam, Fanny, Mike, Terry, Miles & Trish....I know I can also speak for Sass when I say it's always good to see and hang out with "The Crew" again. You guys make OMW an event we look forward to each and every year. It was also cool to see STG again and meet Aaron & Tucker.....cool guys. Here's hoping we see your Clan again in the future.
Also wanna say it was great meeting Irish McStout, CanadianBroncoFan & Candance and Mike's son Cody. I know we didn't get to talk all that much, but here's hoping to see you all again at a future Broncos game.
It was also great to see the Woodman, Disco, 12th Man & Ted again as well, sorry we didn't stop back by after the game...that one was on me due to headache issues I had been dealing with all weekend.
Sorry we couldn't get together Nate, but it was good to see you again at Rodizios....and speaking of Rodizios, if you're out there anywhere Melissa....I WANT A REMATCH!!! Ha! It was great to see you again after all these years, here's hoping we can catch up with ya next time as well.
Thanks again to everyone for everything. See ya in 2012.

Well, we just rolled in this evening! It was soooo great to see so many old faces...(Crawdad aka MIKE...I swear I'll get your real name right! ;D My husband gives me a hard time about that huge flaw I have all the time!)
Ray & Shelly...Yes, would love love to see you guys more often! And the offer is still open if either or both of you guys ever make it out this way!
Dr. (formerly 116) bummer that I didn't see you! Next time...there WILL be a next time!
TGN, I think we got it, but I'll PM you! Thanks for the Tailgate spot you so warmly shared! I can only imagine the toll it takes to put together a tailgate! You'll be missed, but hopefully you'll be able to hang out as a 'non host' once in a blue moon!
Aaron and Tucker truly had such a good time and thanks for making them feel so welcome and part of the gang! Tucker loves his Broncos gear and is ready for game day every week! Maybe we'll make it out to another game this year?! We'll see!
We've been on the road for 2 weeks and it definitely feels good to be home!

My husband does seem to be getting stronger now... he's been able to play some golf and plans to do water aerobics to maintain his fitness during the winter. Hopefully he'll be back to normal soon. We were getting worried 'cause he had 2 cortisone shots and they can only give him 3... and the next step after that is surgery (very scary word... lol).
Thanks! (avy) Found the graphic and thought she'd look great in orange n' blue. :D
