Do you need to Leave the CHIEFS to be a superbowl winner?
I am trying to think of examples for a Chiefs fan here at work, and I can only thing of these 2.
1) Neil Smith - Chief legend that left to Denver to win a superbowl
2) Tony Gonzales - Chief legend that left to Atlanta for a better shot at a world championship
Can you guys help me think of others?

Well Vrabel won superbowls and Eddie won being on the Broncos until he bitched out like a true Chief.

Both went to the chiefs yes, I agree with you on that but.......
Eddie K - was not a Bronco Legend
Vrabel - was not a Patriot Legend (role player)

that is awesome.
That reminds me that Elway instead of leaving, stayed in Denver despite losing so much in previous superbowls.
That just shows how awesome the franchise is.

scott fujita (saints). best part fujita was always a good player, but he happened to be on those greg robinson defenses and he was eventually jettisoned by carl peterson. haha

You would think they have had quite a few players leave and go onto win a SB somewhere else. I mean the 69 season was a long time ago.

Also Kawika Mitchell left the Chiefs in 2006 and won in 2007 with the Giants.
