The feeling is the lockout is going to end in the next few days as opposed to weeks. Of course we've heard that before. So let's get some guessing going! When does the lockout end?

My birthday is on monday. Maybe then. But the miracle fairy needs to get off her fat ass to make it happen.

I'm impressed with the number of options. And yet disappointed that there was no "Yesterday" option...

No choice for "When the sign the new CBA?"

Can we work this poll for a dollar per square and make it more interesting?

July 22, I'm looking for a great birthday present. But wait, that could mean losing a preseason game. Ok, I'll accept an early birthday present and share it with sirhcyennek.

Deal.

Make it so, NFL.

I think Jason LaCon said if a deal was done by that date we'd only lose the HOF game.

They said everything had to be court approved before the lockout could end, right?

If so, the next few days are off the table. Seems like quite a process even once the two sides agree.

I picked 7/15, slightly edging out "I am Spartacus"

What day comes in between next Saturday and next Sunday that I'm not aware of? :)

Shut up, you!

And there are a lot of people claiming to be Spartacus. Now I know how Marcus Licinius Crassus felt.

Where is that feeling coming from? i have seen nothing different lately.

There are signs. The layers are drafting up legal documents which suggest this is to the stage of articulating the agreement both sides agree upon.

Of course with the 8th circuit ruling just now coming down, this could swing things either way. In the short term it give the NFL a bit more leverage, but long term opens a shot for the players to win big if they are willing to go the whole nine yards and fight the season. Both sides are said to be close. We're about to see how close.

Considering the mediator that's been babysitting all the meetings is leaving for vacation today, I'm not optimistic anything will get done in the next 10 days at least.

I think that's the reason it came. He was probably like "Guys, I'm going to Maui and if you haven't figured it out by the time I leave, we're going to figure it out for you and it won't be pretty." I just read a fair portion of the ruling on the 8th circuit's website. They basically made it suck for both parties which is awesome. It essentially makes a new agreement the best option for both parties. I think they did really well.

Haha, curious demographics on "THere will be no football this year"

Play2Win, Ramblin' Bronco, Rock Chalk

Me and Play2Win share a birthday.

Me and Ramblin' Bronco share the same first name.
