View Full Version : Problems at Fort Calhoun nuke plant
How come this story (Google it) has gotten so little press outside of the immediate area?

If there is a 'secret' problem, I haven't heard of that, but on Foxnews they both reported about the fire, and the flooding (a while ago on both, but couldn't say exactly when). Supposedely the plant was shut down a while back (April or May) and they've put some type of temporary dyke around it to keep the generators dry.

My father in law lives in Blair, ne. Says It's fine. It's.been in cold shutdown since April due to the expected flooding.
However, we know from what happened at the ***ushima plant in Japan that the nuke industry isn't quite forthcoming with the truth.
