Good because the old announcers were pathetically bad. There's no way this duo can be worse. Congrats Nick.

Amused by one of the comments saying we don't have commercial breaks! we do have adverts in the UK, just not as many! Its only the BBC that doesn't have adverts during shows...

But the comment was actually correct in substance - there is more studio-time in the UK shows becuase the ad breaks are less, so they are often having to cover some time when there is nothing going on in the stadium becuase the US is on an ad-break. So actually having decent commentators can make the whole thing more bearable.

In the past it seemed like any ex-player could get a gig if they wanted it. Hopefully now a little more thought is going into the selection process....plus the NFL is collaborating, which is interesting....still not convinced we will ever see an original point of view about anything from these guys.....

BTW the last couple of years saw our very own Bradlee Van Pelt in the Sky Sports studio. He was OK, bit nothing special. Great to see another ex-bronco up there though!
