OK all you Broncoholics out there. I have 2 full beer bottles named "Repeat Pilsner" & "Repeat Champions Ale" made to honor the Broncos glorius back-to-back Superbowl victories (Thank You Atlanta !!!). Both are 1 Pint - 6 Ounces and have Leroy Nieman lithograph type labels. The label on the back of the bottles states: Original art by Colorado artist Malcolm Farley. Also stated on the back label: "Only 1000 cases produced, Broadway Brewing LLC, 2441 Broadway, Denver, Colorado.

Here's the kicker, Malcolm Farley has a website of his own. I have spoken to one of his aides on more than one occasion. I also get no response to repeated emails. No one will even ackowledge the existence of these bottles.

I was able to contact a beer bottle collector in California whose collection totals somewhere above 500,000 bottles. (NOT A MISPRINT) He said he saw one of these two bottles at a sports card show in 2000 and has never seen one again. He remembered that since the bottles had not received liscensing from the NFL or NFLPA that they were destroyed. Well, apparently not quite all of them were destroyed. Does anyone have any information on these???

I have one of them. The Repeat Pilsner is in storage in Denver with the rest of my Super Bowl Champs memorabilia.

I'd be happy to part with it, though, if you PM me this collector's info.

actually that not true, it will be dependent on the style of how it was brewed and where it was stored.

There are very few beers that get better with 12 years of ageing...

Obviously the right approach is to slam both beers and then proceed with the investigation.

There are far more then you think.

Take it to Pawn Stars, I want to see you say before you go in the store that it is rare and you want take less than $5k only to be told that it is worth only $500 to rabid Bronco fans at an auction only to have Rick offer you $5 because it is going to sit on his shelf and take up space.

I've got a 6 pack of coke I got when I was stationed in Colorado Spring, when Denver won back to back superbowls. I am sure there are alot if those out there as well!

I don't disagree that some beers get better with time. My favorite beer of all time is a sour brown ale which is aged for 3 years before being bottled. I love aged beers. I just felt like your first post suggested it was 50/50 whether or not his beer got better with time, when the styles are far fewer than that. All I'm saying is that it's a fair assumption that his beer is undrinkable now ROFL!

I have good idea - why not register on like 8 different forums and start threads like this on each of them? We can track your progress by Googling "Repeat Champions Ale".
