Tipton says: "But the question we all have to answer now is, 'Can we continue to pay the price?' The answer is 'no' and we know it. We are in a dive bomb to economic catastrophe if we do not turn the ship."
But Tipton does... According to a Colorado Pols analysis of House salary data available at the website Legistorm, Tipton spent more money on staff salaries in the first quarter of 2011 than any other freshman member of Congress...and it's not even close. Tipton's office doled out a whopping $243,431 in total salaries in the first three months of 2011, including $39,111 to make Mike Hesse one of the highest-paid Chiefs of Staff among the 93 first-year members in the House. Tipton is one of only 17 Freshmen to spend more than $200,000 on staff salaries in Q1.
Man, all that government spending is way out of control... unless its HIS government spending, in which case it must be maintained!
Another Republican hypocrite? What a surprise.

Typical politician. Hypocrisy isn't limited to the Republican Party and when you make those types of statements, you look ignorant.

So government jobs are paying ridiculously high salaries? Funny, seems that wasnīt seen as a problem in Wisconsin by some. Interesting.

Fine, typical politician and yadda yadda yadda.
Difference is, the MAIN PLANK of this POS's platform is cutting federal spending.
Oops. Spin away.

As usual, you miss the point.
You run on a platform of small government, cutting spending at the Fed level, you don't get to hire a staff that costs more than any other Freshman Congressman by a very, very wide margin. Doesn't work that way. That's what's called a "hypocrite," which is how the article was framed in the title.
Not my fault the guy can't live by what he professes.

And the "Oops. Spin away" thing, yeah, ignorant.

No biggie, I'm sure he too will come out of Washington DC wealthier than when he went into Washington DC. It's not just a career, it's a way of life!!

Oh yeah? did you see that in your crystal ball?
If he were a Dem, he probably wouldn't be running on the "do whatever you can to lower the deficit and fire workers as long as it cuts the deficit" platform, you simpleton.

Well, he's a complete and utter hypocrite. I suppose if he had gay sex in his private life while talking about how awful homosexuals are in his public life, you'd sign up to help his campaign.
I can't tell if you're really so stupid as to think you're being clever...
